This guitar is amazing. The stock pickups are some of the best I've heard. The tonal difference between the neck and the bridge is pretty large, however they compliment each other nicely, like peanut butter and jelly. The only downside to it is its old school floyd rose, which you have to cut the ball off of the strings and lock them in.

This guitar is a helluva guitar, but much heavier than my own dean from hell. Also, the neck pickup sounds great, but the bridge pickup is not the greatest, sounds good but not enough output. Might be the Toggle Switch or the pickup is wired backwards.

GREAT GUITAR !!!! Had to get used to what feels like a wider neck than what I am used to. The workmanship, and looks are excellent. I play sitting down and this guitar fits on my lap like a pretty girl. Whatever the pickups are in this guitar are amazing and the best of all of my other tools. I have been playing this since I received it ,can't put it down.

This guitar is a monster. My only complaint is that the pups could be better. They sounded pretty muddy and the tone knob really didnt change anything. I put EMGs (81 & 85) in mine and WOW! Not only does it look killer but it growls like a beast. Get this guitar.

When I firs saw this guitar I fell in love with it's looks! Floyd Rose, Black hardware, Razorback style neck, And taped neck pickup; all signature Dime! Then when I plugged it up, I was compleately taken! This is a great guitar all around. And the Floyd Rose can really withstand some hard damage and still keep its tune! My only problems were that it didn't have a real Dimebucker in it and I was new with a Floyd Rose so figureing out how to re-string it was a challange. Beyond that, the guitar is a solid, state-of-the-art metal machine! Get one and GETCHA PULL!!!

Bought this guitar when I broke my ESP, didnt have alot of money laying around traded an amp and got for about two hundred bucks. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! No problems with anything body wis but Ive had to rewire pickups and volume pots in the past few months, once I finished working on it I haven't put it down. The bound neck is amazingly smooth for a Korean made axe. Might just have been the one I bought, I do not know. Still DEAN for life though!! Hard to find a good neck for this price.

this was sent to me fast!,guitar was shipped in a case in a box,then another box!this plays awesome out of the case action good,neckadjust good,plugged in it sounds bridge pu not as clear as it could be (im changing it to a dimebucker) neck pu is good but im changing it toseymour 59 on to the trem,bar not as tight as it should be,will be changing it to a real floyd not a licenced product.

I bought this guitar a few days ago, and so far I like it a lot. It sounds pretty good, and has a really nice clean and distortion sound to it. It's comfortable to sit down and play if one the wings sits between your legs. The only complaint that I have about it, is having trouble keeping it in tune. I do quite a lot of soloing with the floyd, and it comes out of tune by least half a step every time. If anyone can help me troubleshoot this problem, I'd appreciate it. My email is shown below. Anyways, it's a good guitar to own overall.

I had bougt this guitar because i love the shape. It was perfect loved the sound, loved the look, and the reason i bought it was,the floyd rose. But i eneded up returning it because Dean Guitars could not get a whammy that would fit.

Had the shadow for 2yrs and I love it less everyday. The license Floyd Rose on the shadow is one of the worse I have ever encountered. The Floyd Rose would go out of tune, get out of alignment, ect. I'm also going to rip the pickups out there quite muddy. The good points to this guitar is the set neck and its a Dean.
