OVERVIEW

An affordable hardcore guitar with camouflage graphics.

The Dean Dimebag Dime Camo ML Electric Guitar features camouflage graphics over its highly resonant ML-style basswood body. The guitar's bolt-on maple neck has a C-shaped profile. The 24-3/4" scale neck and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard facilitate intricate, shredding solos and lightning quick chord changes.

DMT Design humbucking pickups pump out plenty of raw, uncensored tone. 3-way switching with 2 volume knobs and a single tone control keep things tonally flexible. The Dimebag Dime Camo ML features black hardware, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and Grover tuners to facilitate accurate, easy tuning.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Dime Camo ML Electric Guitar:

I'm far from being a professional guitar player, but this is without question the worst electric guitar I've ever played in my life. I've got it because I'm a big Dimebag fan and wanted one of his guitars. While the guitar looks cool, the sound is just awful, just awful. Compared to another "metal" guitar that I own (a BC Rich Warlock equipped with EMG 60 and 81 PUPS), there is no comparison. The Warlock sounds good plugged or unplugged. The Dean? There is no clarity in the sound and any strummed chords sound like mud. Again, just awful. This is a low quality guitar with cheap components. I'm sure there are better Dimebag signature guitars out there and I know for a fact that there are A LOT of better quality guitars out there for a similar price point. If you are a big Pantera/Dimebag fan and want to have a cool looking piece for your collection, maybe something to hang on the wall, this guitar might work. If you are looking for a guitar to actually play? Keep looking. I wouldn't recommend this to someone jamming in their bedroom. It's far, far, far from being a stage quality guitar. This gets one out of five stars from me only because I can't give it any less than that.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Dime Camo ML Electric Guitar:

Purchased for a nephew ready to move on from smaller-scale instruments. Plays perfectly out of the box. No intonation problems, no fret sprout. Shockingly light for an ax this size. Ringy and and pleasant unplugged-sustains and and growls with any decent amp. Great cleans on the neck-awesome distortion tones on the bridge P/U. I am very satisfied and feel like the coolest uncle ever. Good finish-great balance. Props for perfect out-of-box play-ability.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Dime Camo ML Electric Guitar:

    I would but it again.
I got this because I needed something for thrash metal. Now I enjoy this guitar a lot, but when you purchase it you're going to need to spend a little cash on it. The stock pickups will work, but after D standard tuning they get very noisy. I like them but I'd suggest replacing them. The action is nice also, but I reset it to my liking. The guitar's neck however is a shred machine. You can squeal all day on it with no problem. You can also play anything. The pickups do however have a very nice clean tone. The graphics look AWESOME also. It's good for anyone wanting to play thrash or any sort of riff metal.
You could gig with it if needed.Feels well put together.
