I have played guitar for 27 years. I am known by my friends on the block as a top rock N Rolla Guitarist. The Fed X man just brought me my Dime Slime Dean! After playing it for about two hours all I can say is this: I have not felt a charge from a guitar since about 26ish years ago when I put down my first SEARS strat guitar to play a teachers guitar that happened to be a 1956 Cream Custom Les Paul! That guitar was like magic! This Dean Dime Slime has perfect Intonation. 22 frets and I can noodle all over town! With ease. It is light weight too. I was spooked thought about the sticker on the back that states "CHINA" ?! Other than that it is a hot smoking item. This guitar stays in perfect tune! I can really express myself as a guitarist due to confort perhaps. I am now thinking of selling my Gibson Cherry Sunburst[56 cut neck]. My Fender Deluxe American strat and my Kramer EVH Signature. All nice guitars but I like the Dean Dime Models better. This is a keeper.I was a little leary regarding the tremolo arm just screws in like an older style tremolo system. I like the type that punch in and screw down and pivot around freely. But this is easy stuff I can change out. It's a well made guitar. It plays as perfect as it looks.

This guitar looks pretty sweet, and you gotta love the Mahogany. However, for the price, you honestly can do better. To start off, this guitar has high output pick-ups. They are great for metal but they sound too fuzzy and not very precise. Next, the guitar has a licensed floyd not an original floyd. And on top of that it's not exactly a cheap guitar, and for the features you could do better. They sell guitars with original floyds and emg's for less than $1000 (hellraiser c-1 FR, esp mh-1000) and if active pick-ups isn't your thing, then there is the synyster custom with invaders, which are better. If you want looks, check out dan jacobs ltd dj-600. anyways if your really rich and in love with this guitars appereance, then get it I guess. Otherwise, try to stay clear.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar it has a fast neck, great action and just fun to play. A guitar made for metal. The dimebucker rocks. I did replace the neck p/u with a Dean Dimetime though. I only wish It had a original floyed for that price. Of course it went down $200 a month after I bought mine, but I would do it again. My favorite guitar, R.I.P. Dime

I have to say this axe is just brutal. i own abt 20ish guitars and it is by far one of my favorites. I have been using it as my main axe here recently because it plays flawlessly and has a slightly v contoured neck so it is easy to grip for soloing. Grade A stuff here guys!

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

this guitar is great. i have 3 guitars and this is usually the only one i lay hands on. the one thing i do not like is that the whammy bar just pushes in instead of screwing in. other than that it is absolutely phenominal. if you want a great guitar that can almost magically form to anyones hands, buy this one. no regrets.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

When I ordered this guitar I got the week after and It sounded played awesome , but my Input Jack got really loose and shorted out in about 2 days. For the price I think they should of at least put a Bill Lawrence 500XL on it and an Original German Made Schaller Floyd Rose. Dean used to make really awesome guitars but it seems lately that their more interested in making money off of them instead of worrying about the quality.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

This is my 6th electric guitar, and I must say, besides the PRS I have, this is the best. It looks great, it plays great, and if needed, it could probably be used as a weapon. The whammy bar is incredible, best I have. Basically, no complaints, buy it. You wont regret it.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar when it first came out when it was on backorder for nearly a year. I own a Washburn Dime and a Gibson Les Paul, and neither stands up to this guitar. The neck is just so smooth and you can move around on it like nothing else. Other people say this guitar does not stay in tune, has feedback problems, and the input jack shorts out. I have not had any of these problems with this guitar. The only thing i had to do was make some adjustments to the tremolo which is with any guitar not from a local dealer. With minimal upkeep this guitar should never cause a problem and should hold its value.

    axe worthy of dime's name

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

In my opinion, this is the best looking Razorback in this price range. The features are awesome floyd rose (even though licensed it still holds), dimebucker in the bridge, and a set neck. I never play clean so I haven't tried the neck pickup really, but I have a feeling if your thinking about getting this axe then you don't either. This is made for metalheads and it delivers!

    Dimebag lives on...

    By OmegaShredz

    from Chicago, IL

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

I had to give this guitar a perfect review. All around, this is one SOLID piece of creamy raw metal goodness. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that you have to unscrew the tremelo and take it off to get it to fit in the case. Other than that, this guitar screams. With the right distortion, you can get pinch harmonics that sound eerily similar to Darrell's own signature sound. Great sustain, fast neck, and the Dimebucker pick up really makes those highs sound like a banshee. I might change out the neck pick up to get a little bit of a heavier chug, but everything else about this guitar is awesome. It also looks SWEET; the pictures don't do it justice. This guitar is well worth the money and is very well built, which is suprising since it's not made in the USA. All in all I have this to say: I'm a Dean fan for life now. Buy this guitar; you certainly will not regret it!

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

I just recently purchased this beauty. I was looking for a guitar with a good trem system and with heavy sounding pickups. This guitar did not disapoint, it sounds really crunchy with distorion on and with the dimebucker in the bridge really brings out your pinch harmonics as well as tremolo squeals. The design is absolutly amazing it looks even better in person. This guitar will definatly make you stick out with it's insane design. So i definatly recommend this beautiful axe, it is amazing all around!

The neck is easily fit to the hand and very smooth. The razor inlay is beast. This guitar really steals attention on stage! The dimebucker pickup has a crunchy sound but sense i've owned it i've replaced it with a Bill Lawrence XLB.

Comments about Dean Dimebag Razorback Slime Bumblebee Electric Guitar:

This is my sixth guitar, and I must say my best one at that. The pickups freakin' shred like heck, and the only reason I gave the features 7 was because the controls are pretty useless, put the pickups are awesome. However, it arrived with the low E and the D string broken. That is my only complaint, otherwise this guitar is freakishly AWESOME!!! It can shred like a chainsaw on thin wood, or produce slow screamin' tunes for those meaningful solos. THIS THING ROCKS!!!
