Feedback busting body design, deluxe appointments, and advanced electronics make this one a great value for the stage.
The Dean Exhibition Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Aphex is designed to be a perfect companion onstage.
Made with mahogany, the thin body of the Exhibition adds comfort while helping to reduce feedback when plugged in. The slim D-shaped profile of the set mahogany neck is extremely comfortable for electric guitarists and features a 25-1/4" scale. Appointments include a smooth ebony fingerboard, pearl diamond inlays, black NuBone nut & saddle, Grover tuners, and DMT electronics with Aphex Aural Exciter.
Optimized for Dean's acoustic/electric guitars, the Aurel Exciter adds air, bite, definition, percussive attack, and better clarity by enhancing the natural harmonics of the sound. No other exciter has the musicality of the true Aurel Exciter found in Dena acoustic/electric guitars.
The Aphex Big Bottom circuit dynamically enhances the low end by deepening and expanding the bass tones according to an adaptive process. It's not just an equalizer boost - it increases volume before feedback. The effect fattens the tone while it extends the guitar's bass producing capability. The Aphex brings out the box and adds a warmer tone that makes your guitar sound bigger and fuller.
Simply press the Aphex button and the guitar comes alive. Experience world class studio/live enhancement of your sound. Case sold separately.
Add brilliant acoustic tones to your set with this great combination of style and design. Order today.

Comments about Dean Exhibition thin Body Acoustic-Electric Guitar w/Aphex:
I primarily play electrics. Almost all are Korean made except for my 2011 American Standard Fat Strat that isn't as good as my 2003 Epi Les Paul or my 2010 BC Rich Gunslinger (both made in Korea.) This is the only acoustic guitar that I have ever played and liked to play. It has low action (after I sanded the bridge down) and doesn't feed back unless I play really loud. I play through a Kustom Sienna 30 watt amp. I can hook the Sienna amp to my custom 2 x 12 cabinet and it still sounds good only louder. I have also played it through a Vox Pathfinder and it sounded good. Out of curiosity I plugged it into my Peavy Bandit (Clean Vintage channel) and is was loud and didn't feed back. Here is all you really need to know. This is the only acoustic guitar that I have ever owned that will get the cops called to my house without feedback. Do I need to say more?
All you need to know is this thing can get loud without turning into a squealing pig.
You will need to lower the bridge to get decent action like on all acoustics but don't be afraid its not that hard. Pull the bridge out and sand it down. That's all there is to it.
The Chinese are starting to build guitars the way South Koreans did 10 years ago. Don't be afraid of Chinese guitars anymore. They finally know what they are doing.
