Exotica Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Features:

The Aphex preamp is excellant.  It brings a already full great sounding guitar to another level.  The xlr plug is a bonus.  I can plug direct into the house leads without a DI.

Quality:

Beautiful guitar, weld build body with nice edge accents.  Looks better in person than is photos.

Only complaint is the fret dressing was very poor. They missed this one at final quailty control.  I actually sliced open my fingers on the frets.  Nothing a little filing and sanding would not fix.

Value:

Great value.  May need some extra work here and there but very nice end product.  Just be prepared.

Overall:

Very nice guitar. One of the best looking guitars I have owned.

Nice Guitar

Features:

The Dean Eubinga Exotica although made in China has great tuners, decent electronics, although I did have some feedback from an amp with the volume up but a simple shift in distance no problem.  Takes 9 volt for APHEX which came with the guitar.  Neck thickness is great (thin) fret width not so wide. The pegs at the bridge are solid wood they have a tendency to slip during string changes so a little more effort is required to ensure proper seating, reason down one rating otherwise nice features.

Quality:

Has wonderful wood grain, nice mother of pearl dot inlays.  The binding is amazing, but it does obscure the side dots that could be a challenge for beginners. Nice overall workmanship.

Value:

I bought this used and I could not find a blemish,  I have played it everyday since with a grin.

Overall:

I've been playing off and on for 17 years and just starting to play venues, this is a smart looking guitar, has great tonal qualities, and has not failed yet. I also tweaked the bridge (lowered ) for my preference with no fret buzz.  You can spend thousands on name brands, with this little gem in the right hands...she will definitely deliver.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.     I dont even want to put it down =)

Just got this guitar today, and all I have to say is Heck Yea!     This guitar rings in ways I have never experienced. Ha ha but really its a beautiful instrument.     I love the trim and the beautiful wood work it has nice cut away so I can get in there and play those high notes.

The quality is awesome definitely worth the money I spent on it.

This is not a biased opinion since i own other brand name guitars as well as Dean, I purchased this guitar and was absolutely floored with the big sound that came ringing out of it....i do however recommend installing new high end strings.....the sound is even sweeter....The Aphex electronics is amazing sounding as well, the neck is smaller in diameter which would also make this guitar a great starter instrument,I would recommend this acoustic to anyone.
