PROS:I just received this little gem about a couple hours ago. (shipping defect aside), I was blown away by the quality, the finish, and the craftsman ship that was put into developing this guitar. She's a little chimey unplugged, but once you plug it in and find the right settings your ears desire, she'll sing beautifully. I love the built in tuner and how great it sounds.If your looking for cheap guitar, THIS IS THE GREATEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!CONS:I had a pretty big chip up by the Dean logo on the head of the guitar, it must of been banged around during shipping, M.F. compensated me money back to my account, so I basically bought it at used price. It didn't affect the sound and should be an easy fix. Overall, defect or not, I'm Keeping It!!!

I just received my new Walnut Exotica. The first thing I noticed was how beatiful this thing is. After tuning it up, I ran thru a couple tunes unplugged. It sounds great. The walnut gives a deep mellow tone and sunstain that lasts a good long time for an acoustic. Then I plugged it in. Even better. The electronics work great. I am sold on the knobs that push in so that are out of harms way when not in use. I love the way the neck feels, although may be a little narrow for my fat fingers. I can work with that. The action is lower than I have seen on any guitar out of the box. The only thing it is missing is a strap button at the heel of the neck. This is a typical Dean... Quality at a low price.

Recently I was in search for a decent sounding reasonably priced guitar that would hold in tune and feel good to play, and I believe to have found all of these qualities in this guitar. I was a bit unsure about purchasing a guitar made of walnut or even a dean guitar, because I currently own a martin. However, I was surprised to find the action low, a warm sound, and a solid guitar all together. Great guitar for the cost, would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but wants a good product.

I got the guitar about 2 weeks ago, right out of the box, it was a beauty, all of the binding was together good, neck was straight, action was great not to high or to low, the pickup system is great with the push in and out knobs, on the electronics system, so they don"t get hit while playing, guitar is a great buy for someone starting out, or on the stage, you can"t go wrong on this one, you have to see this one to believe the beauty, and playabilty.
