Alright, first off I want to say that I would recommend this guitar in a heatbeat! Its distortion is fantastick, it's clean sound isn't amazing but it's still great, it feels awesome, and, let's face it, who wouldn't feel like a bad boy with this beast in their hands? It works great for recording as well as live playing, and, using 11 gauge strings, I can play as low as drop B tuning and keep a solid, controlled sound. Great for metal, rock, and pretty much anything else you want!

First I will go ahead and knock out the cons. Cons - Biggest to Smallest (Construction>Pick Ups) Basically the guitars neck plays like most of the deans, Incredibility!! These things play very fast but as a player you have enough in your hands for it not to feel like your walking on air. You can tell though that the body cuts and neck wood cuts aren't pressed for perfection. Other than that it seems alright. Also the Pick Ups are standard wound pick ups. You can expect the same from EVERY guitar companies standard pick ups. PROS - B - S (Value>Playability) For the Price these guitars are amazing. I Would suggest ANY dean. This looks like a really pretty guitar if you are cosmetically appreciative. Also it again plays really fast while having some grip and give in your hands. It has such things as grover tuners and the scale is really good for me personally. I think engineering wise it has the perfect feel for myself as far as fret distance. I am a HUGE FAN and will keep these in my studio from now on.

You cant beat this guitar for the price! Great sound and play ability, nice action and weight. The pickup even sound great, the over all finish isnt to bad either. I have the Schenker retro also and this bolt on neck cheaper version actualy plays and sounds better that the more costly version. Great guitar for the money, you cabt go wrong with this one! get it!
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
I recieved this guitar for christmas a year ago and at first i thought it was cool looking. As I started to play I instantly realized how much bigger than normal guitars it is. Neck is a little thick to me and it is kind of bulky. If you play softer types of music this guitar is ideal but if you play metal it isnt the best
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
I tried this guitar today and hated it. I think it's because of this thing I have against all V shaped guitars. I think they are so uncomfortable to play, which is a big deal because one is the biggest things I look for in a guitar is comfort. I don't want to have to struggle to keep this thing on my lap while playing it. Standing up, I'm sure it's much more comfortable. That holds true for most V guitars. But even still, I didn't like the tone much either. You could pin someone against the wall by their neck and choke them with the headstock on this thing. I prefer the headstock to not be ridiculously large. So as I said, no thank you.
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
I played this guitar in my local music shop and was shocked to see the price tag. I own and have played lots of Dean guitars. They're reliable and always affordable. I've often said I'd take a $500 Dean over a $900 Gibson. This particular one was $299 and is in that same value. The pickups are open and kind of airy. Great punch and sustain. With distortion it sounds nice but you might not pull off harmonics as easy with this because the presence doesn't quite match the amount of output. Very slim fast neck. Higher action than I'm used to but still very comfortable or changeable to your liking. I'd recomend this guitar to beginners or to anyone looking for an affordable 2nd guitar.
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
This was my first electric guitar and before that I was always playing on an acoustic guitar and when to the store to finally go and get me an electric and having never owned an electric guitar before I didn't even think of checking the pickups or the neck or even the bridge. But after messing around withit alot I figured out that I to get a neck set I order to get rid of the fret buzz but overall it isn't a half bad guitar.

It's a great gig guitar. I have a Epi Les Paul, which is a heavy burden. This guitar looks beautiful, everyone adores it in public. It's mainly for looks, sounds pretty good. But overall well worth the $
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
This guitar is an excellent guitar for beginner to advanced players. it does have high action which can be changed but everything else rocks. i recommend it.
Comments about Dean Michael Schenker Standard Electric Guitar:
I have the Gibson version of this, and its good, a little big, and the white part of the finish is way too creamy. I've changed the pickups to EMG 81 in the bridge and a EMG 85 in the neck so its pretty good now! I do not reccomend thisfor begginners, but for giggers this is ideal, especially if you want something real flashy.
