I order the Dean ML X with matching headstock, because its the body shape that Dimebag is most associated with. I order the metallic white because the metallic red just looked bad in its pictures, but to my suprise I was shiped the red by misstake, but its so beautifull in person that I don't even care, I'm keeping it. I had to hightin the brigde because the strings were too close to the fret board and the high E string seems too close to the edge of the fret board and keeps slipping off but you get used to it. I plugged it into my Crate GT30, the clean was susainfull and bluesy, while the distorion showed me that this guitar had more crunch than my B.C. Rich Warlock. The neck, thank god, felt almost like my Warlock which I broke a few weeks ago.

This was my second Dean that i purchased, with the first being a Michael Schenker Custom, which i love. I also wanted an ML since i am also a fan of Dime(RIP). Bought this one to do my own upgrades; Right out of the box, the nut falls off, no glue. Tried to tune it over and over, would not stay in tune. Took it to get set up with a reliable repairman, his exact words were; " THIS GUITAR IS A MESS". The bridge was placed too close to the bridge pickup, which is why it sounded bad. He will reposition bridge for me. I didn't expect perfection for such an inexpensive Dean, But then again it's a Dean, So I am Disappointed. You really do get what you pay for, especially with Guitars.

GREAT!

This is an amazing guitar for metal, as it can handle low tuning very well. This guitar can be kind of heavy and large, but you'll get used to it. This is of great price for such a nice guitar. It is good for just starting out, or if you are low on money.

Awsome

This was my very first dean, and I absolutly love it. I always thought the Dean ML was out of my price range until I saw this one. Its got just enough bite to get the job done and a warm neck tone. Right now im playing on an Ibanez 10w amp, but im am planning to upgrade soon. After owning this dean, I will say ill never own anything else but a dean guitar.

Well this guitar is my second Dean and at the time of this review my best guitar. it plays great. The feel of the neck is great and pretty fast, the pickups are great for this price, and it stays in tune relatively well. This is a great guitar for metal, and rock, and can probably handle a little of everything. not to mention the metallic red finish is amazing. If your looking to get your Wings and not spend a whole lot, this guitar is a great idea.

ML 4EVER

By Anonymous

I've been wanting an ML for a long time, and this one was perfect for me. I got the white one. It's awesome! Good pickups and the neck fits my hand perfectly. I got it set up and it's perfect. Great guitar, and it looks sick! I like to play my solos with my knee inbetween the the 2 legs of the 'V' part of the body. ML 4EVER!

I just got my guitar in today and I am already impressed. It's beautiful. The playability of this guitar is amazing right out of the box. All I did was tune and play. The neck is super fast. The action is a little high but I always take my guitars to a professional and get them set up. The instrument hangs from the shoulder perfectly. Just right for shredders. I got mine in white. Excellent finish. Not bad for a guitar made in China. The pick-ups were good for a low end guitar. All in all you get a great value for the price. Buy one and make yourself happy.

Nice Dean

By Anonymous

The guitar is awesome. What can I say. The pickups are great. Fast neck. One thing though, although it doesn't effect playing, the headstock is like double the average size and the overall length of the guitar is pretty tall. Nice though.

I originaly brought this axe for the looks. Boy was I in for a surprise. This thing screams when like a banshee. the stock pickups have an amazingly warm tone. Hell, if you didnt know better, you'd think your hearing some EMG'sThe only complaint I have is the fret access. Its only equipped wiht 22 frets, and the body makes it a chore to hit the last 2 frets. Besides that, its an amazing guitar

Amazing guitar

By Ri

This guitar is execelent for down tuning to low stuff like drop c and b. Perfect guitar for metal and very afordable. The only thing I disliked is the neck isn't lamanated, so over time the neck might wear down depending on how you take care of it. But overall it's a amazing guitar.
