Comments about Dean Razorback Red and White Electric Guitar:
i was not satisfied at all with this guitar. when i first opened the case i noticed paint flaws instantly. it seems like they banged out 100 of these things in one day with little attention to detail. when i plugged this guitar in to play on my line 6 tube half stack i did like the dime bucker. i have the same pickup in a BC Rich warlock and i'm a fan. that was one of the main reasons i purchased this guitar. another thing about this guitar that is mentionable is the floyd rose. but what floyd rose isn't mentionable? there was a lot of fret buzz so i adjusted the truss rod to get rid of that but it after much tinkering it was still noticeable. the neck pickup is incredibly quiet, especially on a clean channel, on a distorted channel the notes don't hold all that well and cut out rather quickly. the overall quality of the guitar seems cheap. its very light, the electronics sound fuzzy, the paint isn't perfect and the fret buzz kills me. My main axe is a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR and that thing shines over this Dean in every aspect. and they cost the same. in my book, this guitar is not worth 900$. the quality and sound is that of a $300 - $400 ranged instrument and i would look else where for a better guitar
Comments about Dean Razorback Red and White Electric Guitar:
This guitar is great overall. The tone is incrediblethe distortion is super in your face but yet still has great definition, and it plays like a dream on the clean channel.
My favorite thing about this guitar is the inlays they just look sharp. Also the red and white finish of this beauty is amazing. The locking tuners keep it tune pretty well, and who doesn't love having a Floyd rose. Also the neck feels like a dream.
I gave the guitar a 7 because I had a lot of fret buzz on the high e and low e but it was an easy fix.
I think this guitar is well worth the price. Especially for only being a limited run model.
