Just got this Dean from my local music store and I was blown away. The Floyd rose was outstanding (with just a little tweaking) and the pups were clean and dirty. Great neck and the finish is radical. Great guitar for all players beginning to expert. Highly Recommended buy.

Awesome guitar

I bought the digital camo version of this guitar, and I'm impressed by it's playability, and the floyd rose is amazing. I can do all of the flutters and synchronized harmonics that Steve Vai and Joe Satriani can do. The only thing that bugs me is that the pickups tend to short out if excessive force is applied to the guitar or if the toggle switch is flicked, so I'm planning on getting an EVH Frnkenstein humbucker for the bridge, and a Hands Without Shadows humbucker for the neck. Overall, I enjoy this guitar very much. Just because it's a Chinese made guitar, doesn't mean it's crap.

I just bought this guitar because me Warlock broke........sad. I have always wanted a Dean and this guitar plays pretty smoothly. The Floyd rose is awesome and really brings the guitar together. The finish is awesome, im not a glossy guy. A nice thin neck for easy shredding, although I would put a different bridge pick up in, preferably a Dimebucker.

I'm a drummer and percussionist who has been playing a Squire for about a year now. I tried this guitar at a store and it was amazing. It felt smooth and comfortable, sounded good with the right amps, and the bridge lock is a nice feature (especially considering since my Squire's bridge broke). I do plan on getting this guitar if I really want to get good at the art of 6 strings.

I've got MY WINGS!!! Do You??

I currently own the Dean Vendetta Camo. I really love the way it plays. The neck is smooth and has an unvarnished finish. So shifting into position is a lot easier. Your hand won't get stuck on a glossy finish. The neck is very thin too. The licensed floyd rose is great, along with the locking nut. If you want to pull off squeals like Dime but dont want to ML shape, this guitar is for you. The matte with Camo finish doesnt leave fingerprints. The guitar has a medium weight, not too heavy or light. It has great tone. I proudly own three Deans now(Dean From Hell, Dean Edge Bass, Dean Vendetta Camo) and this has become my favorite for now, until my snow white razorback comes in.

I bought this guitar for $360 canadian cash. The floyd rose trem is very good, the strings need a bit of breaking in.Compared to normal tuning, tuning a guitar with a floyd rose seems to be a hassle after a while.I would definitely recommend replacing the pickups. The stock dean pickups are decent but for good sound, UPGRADE.I also own an epiphone G-400, and in my opinion, it sounds better than the stock dean right now. In my G-400, the only modification I have done is replacing the bridge pickup with a Gibson Dirty Fingers.Overall, decent guitar.
