I got this guitar using graduation money back in June. I got it because of the wicked paint job, and the fact that it's an ML.The neck is fantastic. It is a little thicker than most metal guitar necks, but I like it. I think it fits better in my hand than the skinny or flat necks. My only qualm with the neck is that they painted it, but its becoming smoother the more I play it, so this really is not a big deal. The tone, oh the tone is fantastic. Great high gain tone from these pickups, although maybe the gain is a little too high sometimes. It's easy to fix though, because they are very responsive to the changes in your volume pots, so turn em down a little and you are just fine.Overall, I think this a great guitar, and if I could go back I still would buy this guitar.
I bought this guitar a year ago and liked it immediately. My only issue was the pickups, they sound awesome but they feed back like crazy. The paint job looks sweet and the bar is great, I can't knock it out of tune.
this guitar is awsome. this guitar iwll blow you away exspecialy for the price. i have a I.T. Beast and mocking bird. this guitar is awsome. you get the best squeals and pinch harmonics you'll ever hear with this ( unless your rich and get the explosion razorback). i get comments on how bad ass it is and how it sounds. if you have the money for a kick ass dean, get this one. it's a bit on the price-e side BUT its A Metal Guitar. and it will kick YOUR ASS.
I got this guitar for christmas and it is the best guitar i've ever played. the floyd is hard to knock out of tune and it has an awesome graphics on it. I also don't know what people are on about when they say the pickups have feedback. when i'm playing it they have slight feedback but nothing more than high quality pickups.
my friend got this guitar, and im not gonna lie: it looks really nice. but trying to play it is something totally different. this guitar, hands down is a piece of crap. the floyd is terrible quality and goes out of tune when doing the simplest whammy bar antics. the pickups are way too high gain and the feedback never goes away. don't even think about running a pedal thru it its a feedback nightmare. the worst thing was the neck problems. when i tried using the truss rod, cracks started to appear. it wasnt even bowed all the way! guitars are supposed to have truss rods that DON'T crack the wood. get an ibanez or something else. something not this. Shame on Dean.
