great value for any beginner. Not great but a great deal for a beginner or anyone on a budget.
This guitar is pretty good for the price. I've been playing for 12 years, and I know a good deal when I see one. I've had this guitar for about 3 months now. Some flaws I found:stock pickups are alright, but the wiring on the neck pickup just disconnected last week. When I first got it, there was a dead note on the high e string, so I had to adjust the truss rod and action to make it work. Overall: great action, looks beautiful, but a little work is cut out for you, but it's worth it.
I've been playing for about a year, and I just got this guitar for Christmas, and I love it. It has a great sound and looks awesome. My only warning for those who haven't played an Explorer before- the body is pretty large and takes a couple hours to get used to, and makes normal sized guitars feel really light in comparison.
I have had this guitar for a month now and love it. I personally beleive it is a great guitar for the price. I have been playing for ten years and my buddy who has been playing for 12 years, we both agree that this guitar is awesome. Smooth fast neck and light weight for the size. The only thing that didn't appeal to me was the size of the head sock...it was preaty large. Other than that this Z is flawless especially in the white. I will definatly pick up another dean!
