The DiPinto Bacchus is a class act - high quality materials and construction, with great attention to detail. This is not a cheap beginner's electric guitar; it's a lot of guitar for the money. An arched maple top, set neck, attractive binding, star inlays (white finish model only) and elegant hardware are just the beginning. This comfortably thin, semi-hollow beauty is capable of an immense variety of tones that hit the mark in nearly any style you'd want to use it for.

I can't add much.. pickup selection is always a matter of taste. I like the stock ones that are in it... They are far superior to the ach pickups in the artcores. at under a grand this guitar is at the top of the heap.. you can go ahead and pay three grand for a semi-hollow guitar and wouldn't get anything better than this. low action. full scale 22 frets. I will add flatwound 11s to it next change.. Personal preference for the style I play.

I've used the Bacchus on many gigs, and I'm totally satisfied with it. The workmanship shows no sloppiness anywhere. The finish (black on mine)is impeccable, rich, deep and bulletproof, great for those hot sweaty gigs. The action was set up perfectly, low and silky smooth with no buzzing (I use .009s) The tuners don't slip, and turn precisely. The tone is fat, with a nice bite, good for rock, blues, country, jazz and funk. This guitar competes well with those costing several times more! It served me well while my ES 345 was being repaired, and I got many compliments on the tone and good looks of the DiPinto. Two thumbs up!!!!! I'll continue using it on many gigs.
