    Very nice guitar.

Comments about DiPinto Philadelphian Hollow Body Electric Guitar:

I like this guitar very much. I had never heard of them untill I saw one in a small shop in Erie PA. I played it and it came home with me. I have played jazz guitar for forty years and this is a great back up for my 1939 Gibson. I over paid for it.$ 800.00 is wrong $ 400.00 tops. Some I looked at were poor in quality, so pick it out yourself.

    mine is great

Comments about DiPinto Philadelphian Hollow Body Electric Guitar:

I bought one of the first production models from the store in Philly, December 2005. I still have it and love it. After reading other comments I felt compelled to add my 2 cents.I didn't find any factory slop ,and the cheap parts all actually work well. The intonation is stellar ,even though I rarely change strings. Mine is tuned a half step low with .013's and sounds great. I like this guitar much better than any Ibanez that I have tried in this price range.

A decent archtop for the money

Comments about DiPinto Philadelphian Hollow Body Electric Guitar:

I have owned a Philadelphian for about a month now. I got an outrageous deal because I bought the last Natural finish they had. It was supposed to come with chrome hardware but mine came with gold hardware. A pleasant surprise! I needed to get the guitar set-up as soon as it arrived, due to a serious buzz all across the first fret. Once set-up, it played very nicely. The neck did take a bit of getting used to.The finish on my guitar is flawless and is really quite beautiful. The tuners are knock-offs of the famous Grover Imperials. They are made by a compnay named "Junko". I hope this is not Korean for "junk". Seriously, they tune well and hold tune excellently. The tone is good to very good and the acoustic voice is surprisingly good. All in all, a decent value in an entry level archtop.
