This is actually my second electric and its amazing. The color in the picture doesnt do this thing justice. Its beautiful. I was going to replace the pickups as well with someone from Gibson but the stock ones sound nice to me. I'll be buried with this thing.
This guitar looks so much better than the real picture. I was aiming for just a nice blue like this, but what I got was mind blowing. The color just bursts from the body. It sounds great and is really easy to play. The only flaw with MY guitar is that when I press my fingers down on any of the strings on the first few frets. It makes a metalic sound, and it is just all blurred out. It's not that great, and I don't know if it can be fixed. I don't know if it's only my guitar but I don't mind. It's well worth the money and I can get it checked out, no big deal. But this guitar if you're looking for a great value guitar!
Just got this guitar, and it is the most amazing guitar. I have have a Fender Strat, and a Les Paul, and this, coming form Epiphone, is amazing. The strings are close to the frets so you have way faster fingering for sweet solos. And for the price, it's a bargain. I would take this guitar over my Strat and Les Paul. Gibson quality.
I got one of these last week, and the web pictures do not do it justice. The color/look is fantastic. It just calls to you from across the room. Great bang for the buck. Yes, the pickups were set a bit low, but really for the money, it's a winner.
I have had this thing about three weeks now. While it sounded great out of the box it needed some set-up to make it play nice. I was thinking about chaging pickups, but these things sound great through both my Fender Twin or Line 6 SpiderII.My only complaint is the neck is wider then a slim taper as described in the catalog.Killer looks and great sound for low cost.
This guitar is amazing. I wasn't expecting too much, I just needed a backup guitar. It is so awsome. I can't put it down. It's really light, so if you need to play standing up this is your go to guitar. Buy this guitar!
One of the guys in my band has the red version of this baby and it rocks! I've gotten to play it several times. It sounds amazing! I've never had any problems with it when I play. I'm looking forward to buying one myself.
This guitar is not only more beautiful, it's better made than the other sgs from epiphone. Which is really weird. The others feel like plastic with squire pickups (the humbuckers on them barely put more output than the crappy singlecoils on the squires). This, for some reason, is much better made. The wood on it feels great, and you can feel the care of it. It's a lightweight guitar like all sgs, but it has a solid feel to it. Not to mention the great tone. Probably the best guitar for the money. Buy it if you're tight for cash.
This guitar packs a lot for the price! Great Machine Head. Beautifull Neck. It is nearly perfect (for the price of course!). The biggest flaw I found (which is nothing very big) Is that there is a minor pickup height problem.
This guitar is so so so so so so awsome its so much better than my old les paul and old SG and Esp ltd f-250 this guitar has it all you can play any type of rock i like to play this with the slash signiture pedal and it sounds just like him im a extremely huge Slash Fan so Rock ON Buy THIS GUITAR you wont be sorry!!!!
