Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
2 thumbs up to Epiphone for making an affordable Les Paul with wonderful sound and durability
Great finish, and super pickups.
only had it for 2 days and it has not once been out of tune, well built and sturdy
you cannot find a Guitar with the looks and sound of this Guitar at a better price, I am very pleased with it and if it ever bites the dust I would definatly buy another one with no problem or second thoughts
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
I bought this guitar and have 3 other guitars. This one plays good but i think my amp is what is holding back the sounds that this guitar could produce. The price was right when i bought it and the value was great i would tell anyone starting out that is left handed to buy this guitar.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
I bought this guitar from Musician's Friend 3 years ago after spending a whole year researching a first guitar for myself. It took me another year to learn what to do with the thing and produce the sounds I wanted from it. Now I feel I'm ready to reach the next level and after spending all this time with lessons and practice I still enjoy playing this guitar! Changing the strings to D'addarios was a big improvement. I can produce a nice thick chunky tone out of it or clean it up and go jazzy. Pair it with the right amp and you won't be let down.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
Having noticed the price drop on this axe, I have to say that it is even better than before, for less that 3 bills you can have a very descent guitar. I found my used at a local shop, but it is the very same LP 100. Great tone and good action. I won't compare it to a Gibson Les Paul, or even better Epiphones. But I will say that Epiphone does a nice job all around on this instrument. It is a great beginner guitar. It has excellent tone. I enjoy playing more than any guitar I have had in the past (mostly entry level: Yamaha, Hohner, etc.) In terms of affordable lefty guitars for beginners and even intermediate players, I would say keep it in the running. Especially if price is important to you. Finally, if you want a lighter Les Paul this may also be the one for you. LP's can be heavy, but this one is really comfortable to stand with or to play while sitting.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
I've had this guitar for three months now and she's a great machine. She needed to be set up when she first showed up, but after everything was set up I haven't had a single problem since. Plays very smooth, pickups are hot, stays in tune (with DR strings on) and is very reactive. Quality is the only category I scored down, but it's cosmetic stuff. The knobs are all off a right handed guitar so 10=0 and 0=10 and the guitar needed A LOT of set up, more than any other guitar I've ever owned or helped anyone set up. But, all the work was worth it in the end. Lefties are hard to find and this one is awesome at a great price. Highly recommend.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
This guitar is absolutley superb. It comes in a gorgeous cherry sunburst that will match the gloss on any gibson. Not only is the color gorgeous but the guitar plays like a gibson. My friend has a Gibson special and this guitar can match it in nearly every way and we have played side by side. Ive never had a problem other then the paint scratches very easily and the knobs fall off easily. I love this guitar and wouldnt trade it for something 5 times as expensive.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
When I bought this guitar, I was needing a left handed one, and it was cheap. I've been playing it for some time now and I could not be happier. No fret noise, and always stays in tune. I've really only had to tune it once when I put new strings on it, no lie. So I would say, that if you need a guitar in this price range, this one should be it. I couldn't recommend it more.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
This was my first guitar and at the time I was impressed, nice finish really cheap, nice sound didn't blow me away but what can you say this thing was a jewel until 2 months later. The guitar gets out of tune if you leave it alone for a day and whats the diffrence because if you bend or play to much metal the g ends up sounding like a d. Also the strings buzz, the e especially. The knobs are very nice looking but bend if you twist to hard. Now that I've just trashed on it, I'm gonna point out some good things about the guitar. First off the finish looks awesome but comes no were close to the standard les paul I own. But again for the price it was good. Also the neck has great action nice feel and the guitar is balanced not to heavy. The sound is once again nice for the price but isnt amazing. Epiphone just needs to start putting a little more effort into their cheaper guitars.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
When I first got this guitar, I must say there was work that needed to be done. The bridge was out of place, my E string was positioned incorrectly, and some of the knobs were almost falling out. It was exactly what I expected from a bargain guitar. But not to worry, I did a little work on it and with a little under 50 bucks this thing was plain like a bad ass Gibson. I must say, the finish is beautiful. This is no doubt my sharpest looking axe, and it also has some pretty nice features. The rose wood fret board is very playable, and the tone of this thing is stunning. I reccomend this guitar to anybody who is ready to jam for an affordable price.
Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Left-Handed Electric Guitar:
I received this guitar as a Christmas gift early and man. I was very impressed mine came in a sunburst color that looks and feels super. I do not get and fret buzz or anything. When it arrived the only thing that was missing was a screw that holds down the pick-up guard. The price is crazy for this awesome axe not to mention the quality either for your first guitar this one is perfect.
