OVERVIEW

The world's most affordable self-tuning electric guitar.

The Epiphone Les Paul Classic-T Electric Guitar with Min-ETune is a real bargain. It features the same Min-Etune sytem that's found on more expensive Gibson guitars. The Classic-T has a mahogany body with a carved flame maple veneer top and a 3-piece hard maple neck with rosewood fretboard. It comes with CeramicPRO pickups for true Les Paul tone. Other features include a SpeedNut and tune-o-matic bridge.

Case sold separately.

Min-ETune
Min-ETune is a compact, battery-powered robot tuner that tunes your guitar in seconds-and delivers 80-100 tunings on one charge. Adjust the tuning pegs manually, turn on the Min-ETune to tune all six strings to perfect pitch automatically, or select any of 12 popular alternate tunings (including six you can program yourself). You can even adjust your guitar's tunings to match other instruments.

A guitar with Min-ETune feels the same, looks the same (the unit mounts onto the back of your guitar's headstock), and plays the same. But most importantly, it sounds the same-Min-ETune works by tuning the physical strings, not by digital trickery that degrades your tone.

Save time and money in the studio, keep the flow going onstage, enhance your creativity with new tunings, and more. You take care of the playing-we'll handle the tuning.

FEATURES
  • Fast, accurate and dependable tuning including 3 banks of alternate tunings
  • Mahogany body with carved flame Maple veneer top and glued-in 3-piece hard maple neck
  • Equipped with Min-ETune system with 16 tuning presets
  • Featuring Epiphone's CeramicPRO pickups for classic Les Paul tone and performance
  • Featuring the SpeedNut - Harder than bone, more slippery than Teflon
  • Case sold separately

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Classic-T Electric Guitar with Min-Etune:

I love the tone and play of this instrument. Its got nice finish. Better than what i expected in this price range by far. I wanted to try the min etune system out. So far its been a joy to use. A little worried about the lifespan of the min etune, but so far it has exceeded my expectations.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Classic-T Electric Guitar with Min-Etune:

Volume and Tone knobs were put on incorrectly and don't sit level, wobble up and down. Pickup wiring exposed. A lot of fret buzz when tuned to anything outside of E Standard. Min-E tuner only works half the time, usually B and E strings are sharp

Disappointed for musicians friend qualifying this guitar as Open Box "Mint" with obvious assembly issues.

Very beautiful guitar. The action was a little high when I received it. I took it to my local shop and had it restrung and set up. Plays wonderful now.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Classic-T Electric Guitar with Min-Etune:

I love the way these humbuckers sound and the guitar plays extremely well - it just fits me. As might be expected, the ceramic pick-ups take a little away from the warmth as compared to Alnico humbuckers, but for me (and we all know these kinds of statements are very subjective) the articulation you get in return is a generous trade. And the music I play which is generally not heavy metal. I bought this guitar because I was looking for an affordable, great sounding Les Paul and MF had a nice price on this one as one of their open box offerings. Thus the min-Etune system came as part of the package with a little concern on my part. But now that I have it, I am finding it extremely useful and is making me look at alternative tunings in a completely different light. I find the min-Etune consistently tunes to within about +/- 5 cents if done in single string mode and the tuning procedure takes less than a minute. The guitar came set up well except the intonation required a bit of adjustment - no big issue. The finish on the guitar body and most of the binding work is superb and I was very pleased with the quality of the frets which also contribute to how well the guitar plays. However, the the binding in a couple places where it meets the fret board was rough and the finish on the fret board has light spots within the grain in a number of places as if not enough stain was applied. The volume/tone knobs came completely misaligned, but on inspection I found three of the four knobs were cracked internally and thus did not have the strength to stay straight even after you adjusted them. On this last issue, MF is sending me replacement knobs. Many thanks to the customer service at MF which I always find to be outstanding. Thus, in the end, aside from a couple cosmetic issues (and let's face it, I did not pay for a Gibson), I am extremely pleased.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Classic-T Electric Guitar with Min-Etune:

I have had the Les Paul Classic-T for several months now. It is an awesome guitar. The body, fret board, feels really nice. The Min-Etune works great. It allows me to go from different tuning within a few seconds. The charge on the Min-Etune last for a long time. I picked the Midnight Sapphire, and it's beautiful...completely happy with it all around.
