Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition ES-339 PRO Electric Guitar:
Described as "used" this guitar came with a minuscule paint blemish near the bridge which is unnoticeable. Says a lot for the integrity of Musician's Friend to sell it at a discount price. Set up was to my taste, low action, no fret buzz, accurate intonation. I have a Gibson Les Paul Studio and Bought this Epi for lightness and ease of handling. Not disappointed. Has the warmth and depth of the Gibson using the hum buckers with the added sting of the single coil sound using the coil tapping function. It is therefore more versatile and can handle a huge tone range from warm jazz using the neck pickup with the tone rolled off to neighbour-irritating tops from the bridge pickup on split coil. All this through a Vox AC15 VR. A very good buy for the beginning guitarist or consummate professional. I've been guitaring since the 60's and I would say this is the best off the shelf axe I have bought. The finish is impeccable, with an excellent paint job and accurate binding, equal to the Gibson. The only negative would be the frets, which resembled an unpaved road. I dressed them with 600 grit sandpaper, followed by 1200 grit, finishing with a silver polishing cloth. Perfecto! Silky smooth! Thanx to Musician's Friend for postage and handling without peer. The guitar was here in New Zealand in 8 days.

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition ES-339 PRO Electric Guitar:
Beautiful guitar, nicley put together. Mine arrived in perfect condition as did the case I ordered for this guitar. Frets are nice, the neck has a nice feel and it sounds as good as it looks. The black body with the metalic silver binding looks great. I have no problem refering Musicians Friend to my friends.

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition ES-339 PRO Electric Guitar:
Absolutely awesome guitar. I went to a local store and played numerous models and kept coming back to this one. It just felt and sounded right. Unfortunately the local place did not have any other than the demo which was well used, and they did not know when they would get more so I ordered from MF.
Guitar was just awesome right out of the box. It was packed with a QC inspection card right on the strings. Every thing was pre-checked and set up unlike a more expensive Fender I purchased earlier this year. All I had to do was tune up and go. Action was smooth just like the well worn demo I tried. Fit and finish were also excellent. Even though I just got it, I know this is going to be my main guitar for a long time. For jazz and blues, I believe this is "the" guitar. I also recommend the matching case.

I own a BB King and a 335 this has a smaller neck for better action and a smaller body thus allowing you to get better cut when playing with bands.
