    Dangerous looks and killer tone!

The ominous skull paint job with anarchy symbol on the headstock provides wicked looks. Dual open-coil humbuckers generate that heavy, thick, sustainful tone you crave. Shorter 24-3/4" scale makes for lower string tension and easier playing. Genuine mahogany neck and alder/maple body with chrome hardware.

    Features
    • Alder/maple laminated body
    • Bolt-on mahogany neck
    • 2 open-coil humbuckers

Whether your music tends toward the dark side or not, this is one cool-looking axe. Make it yours today.

I just got this guitar for christmas, and i must say i am very very impressed, i have always wanted a les paul, and i was gonna shell out the bucks for a plain-jane model, but i decided to go for this one, it may not have all of the features, like separate volume-tone knobs for the pickups, but it is very close to its bigger brother. i did experience very mild buzzing on the low E mainly frets 1 and 2 but if you know how to tune a guitar neck, it was easily fixed. any music shop will do it for a very low price if you dont. other than that, the guitar SCREAMS. it begs for distortion, but it has perfect clean sound even playing through a travel amp. on big amps it is best. i love it, it is a great bargain, grab it while it is here.

Ordered for my 17 year old son this Christmas. Very pleased. I would have loved a guitar like this when I was younger. Plays very nice straight from factory. So it will be a dream when we take it to Mark Brown (The old Doobie Bros. Guitar tech) and have him set it up. Great Deal, will be very rare someday... Buy 1 or 2 quick

    Great Guitar!

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

I've had this guitar for a few years now it works the same as when I got it, though the rhythm setting doesn't always work, and you have to jigle the switch to get it to work. Sometimes it will phase in and out, witch means more jigling the switch.

Skull Design is Fun for Your Rocker Image!

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

The features are typical of the Epiphone Special II series. In my experience, these series guitars are great for beginners and the skull makes you feel like a real rock guitarist. This guitar makes a fun "starter" guitar and will last for many years and for the price, this is a good "low end, beginner" guitar.

Really good feel to it. Sound is okay, though the lower note seems to be shaken a bit. Very good buy. Overall Great guitar! Should buy!

    Mean Ax

Overall this is an amazing lookin ax. Once again, the only complaint i have is that the low E sometimes rattles. I bought it as my second guitar and i'm pleased with it. I ripped out the pickups and threw in some EMG's and now it'll shun anything that comes its way.

    Worst guitar ever made

    By Dylan-ucnmH

This has to be the worst guitar I've ever seen. The strings broke the first week i had it. Although Epiphone is made by Gibson, You would be better off getting a genuine Gibson than cheap Epiphone. It had a huge MADE IN CHINA sticker on it.

    Anarchy In The U.S.A.

    By Anarchist_Antichrist88

This was the second guitar I owned, and I must say that I was overall very pleased with it. The reason I bought it was, because it had a very cool design on it, and once I got it I found out that the sound of it was just as great. The strings hardly ever rattle except for sometimes on the low E string. The action is pretty good, you don't kill your fingers pressing down so hard. There is really only one problem that I have with mine. The bolt thing that holds the input jack into place comes loose quite often, but it isn't that much of an issue for me. I would recommend this guitar probably to beginners and moderate players.

    Splendid...

    By core_dawg420

This is my second guitar and i love it!!! I was worried that, for the price, it was going to sound tinny and not very clean. But i was spendidly suprised when i plugged it in. Nice thick, warm, cruchy tone. I like it just as much as my friend's PRS.

Great wall hanger! Playability is marginal at best--great novelty however. If you are starting out, do yourself a favor and buy a midrange priced guitar that you will actually enjoy learning on and playing.
