This was the first guitar I bought, and also the guitar I learned on. For learning it's a great guitar, and the 2 humbuckers with a 3 way selector knob give you a choice of tone. As I got better through constant playing, I realized that while this was a great beginner guitar, I couldn't keep playing it forever. The stock pickups and the action were two things I disliked about it. As time went on, I upgraded from my 10 watt Traynor amp to a 25 Traynor Tube Amp with effects (what a difference!) and the guitar gained some new life. I've played some higher end guitars in the music stores, until finally I decided to trade it in for a much more expensive Ibanez. I spent about a year playing this guitar, and I have to say, that if I started learning all over again and needed a guitar to put up with the constant playing I did, I would definetly consider this guitar. Plus the paint job aint to shabby.

I recieved a lemon because I had to return it. It was not satisfactory at all. I was not able to tune it. I paid a professional to "set it up" and it still was not right. Playability seemed OK but if you can't tune it, nothing else matters, right?I sent it back for exchange.(It did look nice, though.)

Great Guitar for the money !!!!

By

from London,Ohio

I bought this guitar about 3 weeks ago and what a shock!!! It's one of the best buys I ever got,the fit and finish are great I love the flame job looks like it cost much, much more than it did.The sound of this guitar is the best I matched it up with a Crate amp and it really puts out.I don't know how Epiphone can build such a fine guitar for the money I am very well pleased. The finish is spotless it shines the flame job looks like it is deep down inside the guitar what a great job they did building this guitar. The machines are very smooth and it's easy to chord, for the cash you could not ask for a better buy.So if you are looking for a great guitar at a low down price pick this one!So get on the phone and order one (don't forget to get a Crate amp.to top it off !!!)and Rock On !!!!!

Good Quality

This is a great guitar that i'd recommend for anybody. It was my first guitar and has lasted a long time! Plays well, distortion or clean, and this flame model is so cool.

Sweet Guitar

By

from Basking Ridge, NJ

I got this guitar a week ago, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. i'm a beginner guitarist but this guitar doesn't seem to be for beginners. i got it so that i wouldn't have to get a second guitar like most kids do. i think this guitar is a really good buy and GREAT for the money. the only thing i suggest is getting new strings, cause the low E vibrates a lot and makes a weird sound. o well. great guitar, if you're considering it, just get it you'll be very happy.

awesome axe

By

from portland, Or

Great for all music. Rock, blues, pop, metal. I got this axe a couple weeks ago and as soon as I took it out of the box I could tell it was gonna be awesome. Sweet clean tone and sick distorted sound. If you buy this axe, it will change your life!!!

awesome guitar

By

from Damascus MD

this is my second guitar and i love it. It has a very playable neck and it stays in tune for long periods of time. It's not light but also not extremely heavy, so it doesn't wear you out while standing. It has awesome tone and sound quality. I would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable and playable guitar.
