Rick on the LP Junior Special

Features:

I bought this guitar for my youngest grandson for christmas. I told him his great gramps was the last one in our family to play so it was up to him to carry on. When I saw the guitar I thought it was exactly what he would need to get started, it's basic and beautiful.

Quality:

I wish I could attach a picture of him with the instrument, he said it sounds wonderful and is built like a brick house.

Value:

I wish I could have owned a guitar like this when I was growing up, I'm glad I could find a Quality piece like this for the great price I paid.

Overall:

Great sound, great price, wonderful looks, what more could you ask for?

Features:

For this guitar's design, it has all the features it needs.

Quality:

The quality of this Epiphone Les Paul Junior is excellent!  After the strings stretched for a couple of days, this guitars stays in tune very well!  It has the finish and construction of a hand-built instrument.  The neck joins the body perfectly.  The finish is flawless.

Value:

I bought this guitar from Musician's Friend for cheap!  How can you beat that price for such a great-sounding and beautiful guitar?

Overall:

I've read other reviews claiming the tuners are cheap and need replacing to keep the guitar in tune.  This is certainly not a problem with the instrument I bought.  The single bridge pickup performs wonderfully. I bought the Cherry color, and it is absolutely beautiful!  The picture on the web sites cannot show this guitar's true beauty!

Amazing!!!!

Features:

Even though theres only 1 pickup in the bridge you can make it sound like a bridge, middle, or neck pickup or different combinations by simply turning the tone knob, so dont judge this guitar by the fact theres a single pickup.

Quality:

Solid built!! it has a bolt on neck (which i preffer) of course. Alot of people say it doesnt keep tune, but i stretched the strings and then tuned it up and played till it went out about 3 times and now it never comes out of tune!! I'm not going to say it matches the gibson model 100%, it obviously doesnt THERES AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PICKUP!!!! But this guitar is surprisingly close to its big brother. Its stock adjustments are almost perfect! i keep the volume at 10 and tone at 7.5-8 and plug it into a brite input and thiis thing ROCKS!!! and im putting a P-94T pickup in it so it has a p90 just like the gibson, but im going to get another and leave the stock 700t in it because its that good.

Value:

You get so much more than you pay for!!

Overall:

Cheap, High quality, almost as good as it gibson big brother.

Pretty cool I guess

Features:

Really I look at it as just a guitar. No customization can be done with it really.

Quality:

It's not the best quality for playing death metal but it's tolerable.

Value:
Overall:

Well mine gets out of tune alot, but when it is in tune I can actually get a metal tone out of it! My family is very poor and can't afford alot, so this is my only option for guitar. I re-modified the nut and hole on the tuning peg and I am going to add GHS Heavyweight .070 gauges on the guitar. I tune to tunings like drop a so it's kind of strange for a guitar like this to be tuned that low.
