A classic rocker with quality features at a budget-friendly price.

Classic SG-Shape: Since its introduction in 1960, this two-horned monster has graced the hands of some of the greatest guitarists of all time. Its double-cutaway body offers unequaled upper fret access while it's lightweight, contoured shape makes it easy to play. Night after night… gig after gig.

Angled Headstock: Unlike other designs, the Epiphone Ltd Ed SG-Junior feature a 14-degree headstock that gives you more pressure at the nut and so you get more sustain with less tuning hang-ups caused by "string-tree" gadgets.

Upgraded Controls: Traditional large diameter potentiometers give you smoother range and longer life.

Upgraded Switches: All Epiphones feature all-metal, USA-designed switches for reliable contact and longer life.

Rosewood Fingerboards: The rosewood fingerboards provides a smoother feel and longer life. Plus, dirt and grunge doesn't show like it does on cheaper maple fingerboards.

Humbucking Pickup: If you wanna Rock, you gotta have a humbucker! With its dual-coil design, the 700T mounted in the bridge position eliminates unwanted "hum", humbuckers are the choice of professional rockers worldwide. Rich, rock tone with no noise — don't settle for less!

Three-On-A-Side Machine Heads: More spacing and larger buttons make the 3+3 headstock and tuner design easier and faster to use.

Precision Machine Heads: Premium, precision 14:1 tuners provide ease of use, excellent tuning stability and long life.

A good item for the money. Much better than the Epi LP junior. I would recommend lowering the action and replacing the tuning machines. The bright sound and good pickup were a surprise.

I just started playing a few months ago and to be honest I don't know a lot yet, but I really like the sound and playability of this. The price was great and the setup feels perfect. I love the action on it. It'll do great for me for awhile.

Bought this for Grandaughter to learn on. At first I was disappointed and frustrated. Couldn't get A string to intone, tried everything. Adjusted neck, adjusted bridge, and just couldn't get it to intone. Dumb me, put on new set of strings and she sings. Put on new strings right out of the box and adjust neck and I think you will be pleased.

This is a no-frills rocker with one pickup, volume and tone. Plays beautifully, feels great and it's easy on the eyes to boot (got mine in worn cherry). This guitar is sweet whether you're a beginner, intermediate or seasoned pro. It's well worth what I paid for it... and more! Bottom line: DO NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT GETTING THIS GUITAR. JUST DO IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Comments about Epiphone Ltd Ed SG-Junior Electric Guitar:

The body of my example is constructed of 5 pieces of basswood with a thin veneer on the top and back. The neck is Mahogany with a splice roughly at the second fret.It is machined to a compound radius and has a very nice feel.It also has a Rosewood fingerboard. It has "covered tuners", but they seem to work fine. The finish on this guitar {cherry in this case} is "dead flat",even the headstock.I like the look but some may not.The guitar is constructed well, fit and finish are nice. After making a bridge adjustment, this particular guitar plays as good as any guitar on the planet. It sounds nice, both unplugged and plugged. However it lacks a bit of "body" and lower end.Is it a "great" guitar? No,but in my opinion, it's an excellent guitar for the money. All things considered, I believe that most people will be quite pleased with it.I hope this helps.

Comments about Epiphone Ltd Ed SG-Junior Electric Guitar:

Shocked and amazed, truly the best guitar for the value I have ever seen...this is a classic SG in every sense. The neck is excellent, frets are smooth, the single humbucker has superb tone, the sustain...well I can still hear it. The only thing is my came in the faded red and the neck was a darker shade than the body...but it makes my guitar kinda "one of a kind". The attention to detail is amazing and it plays as well as a Gibson...bar none! This is a limited run so buy it today before they are gone for awhile.

                  Hello;
Overall, the qualities of these ltd versions may be better than the historic original Gibson.
The 60's neck - I can verify, the old ones were logs.
The basswood body is book matched - everyone that I have seen. - Whoever heard of that on a bargain guitar like this.
Thick slab of Rosewood for the fretboard - amazing.
                  Excellent fret work.
Fit and finish - top notch - like a high end guitar model.
Would I recommend this to a friend? - No, my friends do not deserve a guitar that is this nice.
Do not miss out on this guitar........period
