An axe that'll give you no static.
Wayne Static, lead guitarist for the techno-industrial group Static-X, injects his raw, aggressive attitude into this new signature model. Like Static's music, the Wayne Static Signature Flying V takes the electric guitar down to its basic elements, with simplified electronic controls, aggressive USA pickups, and a jet-black Ebonal fingerboard.
Simple and effective. Order today and play.

i got this v a couple weeks ago and just played my first shows with it this weekend. after first trying this guitar out with the stock pickups a week ago i decided that i needed to put a duncan in it, so i put a sh-5 custom in the bridge. this guitar SCREAMS now and it plays like a dream. only things i had to do besides the new pickup was i lowered the action and it came with very light strings, so i replaced them with 11-49's. love this guitar... LOVE IT!
Although the weird balance problem is the best guitar I've ever owned. Great of any type of music. Stays in tune. Looks awesome. Works best the the official Wayne Static Strings, which are, for those who don't know, are the Ernie Ball Beefy Slinkies. Awesome for detuning.Best guitar for all you other Wayne Static and Static-X worshipers.
The Epiphone Wayne Static signature v isn't a bad guitar for the price. It's neck heavy, like most Epiphone Vs, and the pickups don't stack up to the EMGs I normally use, but overall it plays pretty smooth and looks hella cool. You will definitely need strap locks to keep from dropping it and you may want to relocate the strap buttons to try and balance out the neck.
I just purchased this guitar for x-mas. I'm really pleased with the stock pickups. When they say aggressive, they mean it! The action is also great, and the satin neck play's nice and fast. If you play any style of hardcore music, you can't go wrong with this guitar. Buy it!!!
