Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

I've been looking for a Les Paul sound in a lightweight, ergonomic body. This guitar is it, and much more. It has a more brilliant clean sound, and the pickups also drive the front of the amp beautifully for searing distortion on leads, and plenty of texture in the crunch. It really needs to be paired with a quality tube amp to experience what this guitar can do. The building quality is second to none, and I love the 4 over 2 headstock design with the Schallers and it's well-designed, heavy-duty tremolo system. So well built you could play it in a hurricane and it will stay tight and in tune. My new favorite HH guitar.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

This is my first Music Man guitar and have been playing it for two days. I usually reserve judgement until I have played the guitar for couple months but, with this guitar, I already love it without any reservations.

      The guitar is setup flawlessly.

Workmanship and quality are first rate.

The feel of the guitar is amazing. It feels solid and substantial in my hands - like a late 50's Les Paul but not as heavy, just feels like it. It looks like a Strat but feels a lot more "solid".

The tone - the humbuckers (and the quality) make the guitar sing, chime, and and growl like a really high end guitar.

I highly recommend this guitar looking for a high quality guitar that excels in all front - craftmanship, playability, tone, and the feel.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

This guitar came set up great right out of the box.. Low action with no buzz and perfect intonation. Great neck, very comfortable!! My first time owning an Ernie Ball guitar and the quality is WAY better than what ive seen from Fender/Gibson lately.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

I originally opted for the black color and was blown away by the feel of the guitar. After a day, I decided to see if I could trade for a Charcoal Gray one...no problems at all with Musicians friend. Once I received the gray one, I was worried it wouldn't play as well - nope, it was flawless. The neck is great, and you can just feel the quality and care that went into this instrument. Hardcase is very robust and solid ( not a gigbag! ha) The 3 positions of the pickups are all very musical. It covers all the bases. Has a very tight compressed vibe. I'm not really a metal/screaming lead guy - so I cant speak to that genre -as for everything else, its pure awesomeness. I own a Strat and a Hagstrom and much prefer the MM...why did I wait so long?
