Set mahogany neck, 24-3/4" scale, 22 extra-jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard with flag inlays, and a pair of hot Seymour Duncan or EMG humbuckers. Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece anchors the strings, while Gotoh locking tuners keep them cinched down and in-tune through heavy crunches and string-stretching leads.

Just got mine delivered today.  Played it at the local guitar shop and instantly fell in love with it.  Such a beautiful guitar in looks and how it feels.  I got mine with seymour duncans becuase I already have 81/85 EMG's in my LTD MH400.  I played a Les Paul Studio after I played this and the LP Studio did not compare.  If you buy this you will not regret it.  Worth every penny!

I ordered 2 guitars with EMGs, they both have the same problem.  The 2 volume knobs are wired in the wrong way.  They wire the 1st volume knob to control the bridge pickup, the 2nd volume knob to control the neck pickup.  I have to return both.  Sad but true.

I bought this on a total drunken whim and am sooooooo glad I did. This is a really cool guitar which I have been unable to put it down since I got it 5 days ago.  While it is not exactly a Les Paul, it runs circles around my Standard and Custom Gibsons. It's as if a Les Paul(basic design), a Jackson Soloist ( shreding neck)and an PRS (body weight and thickness) got together. This is their love child. This baby looks like a Paul but it is so much lighter cause the body is a bit thinner. The fret work is the best I've seen on any production guitar and it just resonates and rings. I got mine with EMGs. I have always enjoyed their bass pickups and single coils but never been much of a fan of their humbuckers but I figured I would give it a try because it seems most real ESPs have them nowadays. Plus I am even less of a fan of JBs and probably have 3 or 4 of them laying around out of other guitars. After a little tweeking on my Mark IV, I found my sound. Not quite death metal but a bit more than classic rock. This guitar rocks!!!!!! The finish is satin but the flamed maple is deeeeeep. It looks like Ruffles chip and dances in the light. If it had a gloss finish it might be too much. The satin finish is not prone to finger prints and makes the neck feel nice and smooth. No gummed up grossness like you get on a Gibson. It has Sperzel locking tuners, a bone nut (Gibsons are plastic) and Gotoh bridge and tailpiece. I have heard some people complain that this doesn't have a Tone Pros set up whereas the LTD ECs do. Well news to you all. Tone Pros products are made by Gotoh.  Maybe it doesn't have set screws but the hardware is excellent. I had an Eclipse years ago but it was the 80's model, an arched top Tele with a Jackson headstock and a Floyd. It was one of the best playing guitars I ever had and I always regreted selling it. This one will never part with me.
