A killer vibe with great sound. Furious George would be proud.
The ESP George Lynch GL-56 Reissue Guitar features an alder body, maple neck and maple fretboard. The neck is an extra thin U shape, great for speed and comfort, enhanced by 22 extra jumbo frets.
The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates, with a late '50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. Warm and crystalline clean tones, full and bright distorted tones and smooth sustain. The neck and mid pickups are ESP SS-120 single coils, great for bell-like tones.
A genuine Floyd Rose tremolo bridge with Gotoh vintage tuners ensure you can make it talk all night and keep your intonation intact. Controls include a single volume knob, 2 tone knobs and a 5-way pickup switch. You'll receive it with a distressed finish, looking like George himself has been playing it for the last 20 years.

I noticed there were no reviews for the GL-56 and thought I'd write one up. I own one of the original GL-56's that were made years ago. It has 3 SD singles in it instead of the Pearly Gates. Other than that it's pretty much the same. This is a great guitar. The Relic is incredible! It plays really smooth. Great tone!! I can't say enough about it. It's pricey but well worth it.
