Matches the quality of the guitar that George himself actually plays

Made in the Japan Custom Shop, Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar has a maple neck with ebony fretboard, maple body, Seymour Duncan TB-12 and ESP SS-120 pickups, Floyd Rose Original bridge, extra jumbo frets, volume with push/pull pickup select, and custom graphics.

    Seymour Duncan TB-12

This bridge position humbucker was designed specifically for George. It has a big open "P.A.F." sound with a little less bite and a little more growl. The tone is big, percussive with a defined treble response that doesn't get harsh.

    ESP SS-120
This single-coil neck pickup produces more traditional bright, clean tones that are great for bringing out flurries of single-note runs and with a little distortion can churn out some dirty Texas blues-rock sounds.

    Features

    • Maple body
    • Maple neck with ebony fretboard
    • 25-1/2" scale
    • Seymour Duncan TB-12 humbucker (bridge) and ESP SS-120 (neck) single-coil pickup
    • Floyd Rose Original bridge

      kamikaze

      By KMW

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

I am a Lynch fan, so I may be a little bias, but, I love this guitar. I have a 2005 Kamikaze 1 and now a 2010 Kamikaze 3. I was surprised to hear someone state the pickups sucked. I am quite happy with the sounds, and was actually quite surprised with the neck pickup. Of course this all comes down to personal taste, but this is why I have 2 of them, in different tunings. I am thinking that some may not appreciate the pickups because this guitar is designed for live and loud. No, actually reeeeeeaaalllly loud. As George has designed this particular guitar, I am assuming to be played live, I have found the louder this guitar is played, the better the results, and I have found this to be true with some of the other Artist guitars I own as well. The pickups are designed to be played at blistering volume levels, and you must follow as this was the original intent, to play at volumes that make ears bleed, but sound good and not get out of control. If you do not intend to play loud, this may not be the guitar for you. If massive volume is your thing, you have got to give this a test drive, Seriously!! This is what this guitar was born to do.

I wouldnt get another one of these....

      By Nick-5PUc1

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

Kamikaze guitars are not nearly what they're cracked up to be. The craftsmanship is sub par for the amount of money your paying and parts like the input jack and whammy bar come loose after a while... trust me I've owned one for a year, and I dont beat the hell out of it either. These guitars are big, bulky, wide necked, and really the only thing they have going for them is the way they look, which in my opinion is the only reason they sell... as much as I'm a George Lynch fan,I can't see why he was happy with this design

      Never mind the ratings

      By Olie_80's_Child

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

This guitar is superb!!! it definitely is very 80'S which means that if you are playing it in an Alternative band or punk you're confused. This guitar is for old school shredders baby!!! it sounds killer through a tube amp so be sure that if you buy one you give it a good home and avoid playing junk music with it, tune it to Eb and crank up some Dokken!!!

      Great Great Great guitar!!

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

Back in the early nineties, I played a Sunburst Tiger, and sold it for way too little to pay some debt. Bad move. Well, I was looking to rebuy the same guitar, when i played this guitar. Awesome move. It is les paul heavy, but plays like a dream. I love the screamin' demon pickup, the neck plays increcibly, and the tone is also great. I recomend this guitar to anyone who plays seriously. It was the best purchase Ive ever made!!!

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

I have had two of these they are very very heavy guitars. The pickups SUCK that was the first thing that got changed. I love lynch and always wanted one of these when I was a kid. I wish I hadn't bought it now the Skull and snake plays much better then this one. Sorry George I just don't like this guitar!

Great guitar for lead (metal) playing... especially when combined with the right amp. Weighs a ton though.

      amazing shredder axe

Comments about ESP Kamikaze-3 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar:

Ok, when I first got this guitar, I was put-off by the sheer 80's vibe of this axe. I mean the graphics are out of control cheesy but that being said, it's quite the individual axe. Now the neck is amazing! I really had no idea guitar playing could be this much fun.I have a load of gibsons that could never be descirbed as 'fun to play'. Now this guitar... the neck is beautiful to look at, flawless ebony construction and incredibly fast. The floyd rose is great and this guitar is built solidly. I won't take it out yet - until i get a couple more as backup - but it's actually impossible to break or stop playing. The sound is great with the screamin demon pickup, but the no name front pickup is a piece of s**t!! I never use it, and I definitely aim to replace it soon. Finally, after a couple weeks, you adjust to the weirdo 80's graphics and paint job (which is flawless btw) and when you start to play it with pride people will stop to watch with open mouths. This, my friends, is the guitar equivalent of the Lamborghini countach. Remember that car? Imagine driving one now.... yeah, exactly! Now imagine you had the BALLS to drive one now, imagine you could go 200+ mph without sweating it in a handmade cockpit. WELL, that's this guitar, so enjoy the ride.
