Comments about ESP Kirk Hammett Signature KH-DC Electric Guitar:
I've been playing for 25+ years. I own many Fenders (my wife says too many..I could always use more!). So I decided I wanted something different. I go shopping with a very open mind. I tried a broad range from Epis, to Gibson custom shop, Schecters, an EVH wolfgang, etc...This guitar chose me! It just plays like nothing else. The quality is unbelievable. It just feels better than any of the guitars that I tried (probably partly because the tinner neck feels better for a Fender player than a Gib, but also qualitywise it seems just very superior!). The tone is great. Neck pup very versatile... incredible sustain on the bridge pickup! Broad tonal range, ( stays in tune all the time and just feels and sounds great. Love the color/finish and the scalloped 17-22 frets. I was a bit torn between this and a LTD, due to the price, but the ESP quality was outstanding and I guess I have never regretted paying for quality on an instrument. Heck! I am not a huge KH fan and I guess I paid for his signature, but again, this instrument just chose me. Enjoy playing!
