I bought this used. Seriously, you cant go wrng with this beauty! The just screams for heavy! And yet the pickups are SO hot and so nice on clean. Its just a pleasure to play it everytime I pick it up! Buy this if you can get it! It will not fail you!
A beautiful piece of work! Sounds great looks gorgeous. Vs are my favorite type of guitar and this ones incredible. Great for working with a band.
I bought this guitar on a whim. I needed a backup guitar and this one won the coin toss. However, this guitar is a ferocious guitar for the money. Put a set of Elixir strings on this thing and stand back. The neck is quick and precise. The pickups are excellent. This thing is challenging my BC Richs for my heart. You cannot go wrong.
I've always loved V's. Despite the sheer inconvenience of them there is something about them that just speaks to me. In the case of the DV-200, it's speaking volumes! Great finish, perfect setup, lightning fast neck and fretboard, and a beautiful, complex tone is what you get. All for under 500 smackers! My first gig night with this one was supposed to be a shakedown, just see how it worked and sounded for various tunes. It ended up doing most of the work that night. It simply sounded too good and was too much fun to put down. This is my 8th ESP and I haven't hit a lemon yet. If you like V's, you will LOVE this guitar, plain and simple!
I recently bought the dv200 and it is better than I expected for the price. It has great action and the finish is very profesional. The neck has had carefull attention when made because I have 8 guitars and this has some of the best action I have seen.
This is one of the best guitar I have ever bought. I bought it at a nearby guitar shop. I have had many guitars but this one is the best so far. I have also had a jackson randy rhoades guitar but the esp dv-200 takes the cake, no wait it takes the whole bakery.
Ever since I first saw this guitar I wanted it. Well I wanted the DV8-R but I didnt quite have that kind of money then the DV-200 came out. Then a couple of weeks ago the music store by my house got one in and as soon as I tried it out I wanted to buy it. I bought this guitar on my birthday and I love it way more than the jackson that I had. This is an awesome guitar and if your looking for something that doesn't cost to much and you like the body style then I would highly recommend this guitar.
This guitar is a great value. Put that aside, it is an awesome guitar. I have been a die hard Gibson fan for years and still am, but my son after playing Epiphone and Jackson just had to have this guitar. Now I find myself asking him if I can play his V!
