Comments about ESP LTD EX-50 Electric Guitar:

I used an LTD V50 for several shows and recording, so I expected quality from the EX50 as well and was not disappointed. Looks sharp and plays amazingly, will definitely have a place in my stage setup.

For the price on stupid deal this guitar is a riff Boss. It has hot pickups and plays very smooth. I have just avg or less size hands and can really move around on this neck.

Comments about ESP LTD EX-50 Electric Guitar:

Kinda surprised how well this feels and plays. I mainly a bedroom jammer because I live in an apartment but with my 20 watt Marshall practice amp or headphones it sounds killer. Definitly a metal/rockin' machine.

Comments about ESP LTD EX-50 Electric Guitar:

This was an impulse buy via Stupid Deal of the Day. For the price it was a great deal. What impressed me the most was the spot on intonation. It's easy to play and just a fun little guitar. It sounded a bit weak at first, but raising the bridge pickup about 1/8 of an inch did wonders for it (generally play thru a Marshall DSL-50). Clean channel is good with both pick-ups (left the neck pickup as is).

          Wonderful EX-50

Comments about ESP LTD EX-50 Electric Guitar:

Overall this guitar is so great. I'm very glad I bought it. There is nothing wrong with buying a cheap guitar and upgrading it. I might buy the ESP V-50 now and upgrade it.

It's a light guitar which is a plus. There is really nothing I don't like about this guitar.
Features are great. I'm a simple player; what I would want idealy is just the bridge pickup and a volume control. That's it.

The pickups are of course terrible but not for someone starting out. I replaced the bridge pickup with a EMG H4 passive and it sounds glorious.
For it being used it is great. I was surprised when I opened the box to see that it looked brand new. I found scratches of course but nothing serious.
This was a great value for this guitar. I was looking for a cheap 6 string but wanted to keep it metal. I bought an 8 string last summer and then realized I wanted a 6 string again. I've always loved the explorer shape and ESP so I bought this. Was surprised that this was "discontinued".

          it's a keeper!

Comments about ESP LTD EX-50 Electric Guitar:

i love this guitar. this guitar made me a heavy esp fan. i've had it since christmas. i got the silver. i'm sure since it is only the ex 50 model that the higher you go the better the guitar. but this guitar is fine with me! the neck is great. the bridge is nearly perfect and the strings come close to the neck, great for shredding. i plan on swapping out the pick ups with emg's eventually (even though i like the pick ups that are already on it. the tone is what you would expect from an emg guitar. however if you plan on playing the kind of music i do; metallica, bullet for my valentine, etc. then this guitar is for you! the tuners work fairly well. the finish is amazing. my friends saw a picture of it and weren't too impressed. but when they saw it in person they were blown away! and jealous. the toggle switch was loose but i replaced it with one from another one of my guitars. this guitar is also light. and surprisingly strong. i've bumped it a few times and it was fine. i only gave features a 4.5 because sometimes i wish it had a floyd rose. but i didn't want one anyways because they're a hassle anyways. this is definitely a lifetime guitar.
