the perfect mix of modern construction and vintage style.
The ESP LTD Hybrid-II Electric Guitar is the perfect mix of modern construction and vintage style. This double-cutaway solidbody is made of mahogany with a set, thin U mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 XJ frets and dot position markers. Dual Seymour Duncan STK-P1 pickups deliver the tone of single-coils, but without the hum. Chrome hardware includes Grover tuners and a wrap-around bridge.
Seymour Duncan STK-P1 pickups
Unlike other single-coil P-90s, the P-90 Stack is a true humbucker in a P-90 package. Using Duncan's patented Stack technology together with adjustable pole pieces, the guitarist can now obtain P-90 tone in a studio-quiet pickup.

Comments about ESP LTD Hybrid-II Electric Guitar:
This is a low priced good guitar. It has decent hardware and electronics.Mini pots and what look to be a cheap generic switch and jack but the wiring is solid. No issues with the finish or the fretboard everything wasa cceptable. I don't care for the wraparound bridge even though this is an upgraded version with individual saddles. They could have made just a little effort and put in push/pull pots and wired the guitar series/parallel and a boost function. The Seymour Duncan STK 1 P 90 sized stacked humbuckers sound good but they are NOT P 90s. I am going to replace the pots ,switch and jack for some added options. A tune o matic is on the list too. The mini grover machines did not seem to hold tuning well and were not that precise. Replaced with Planet Waves Trim Lock tuners all better. This is the black cherry version with passive pups. All in all it is a very nice guitar and with a little time and effort (and money) will be stellar.
