Comments about ESP LTD JH-200 Jeff Hanneman Signature Series Electric Guitar:

      GOOD STUFF-
-the volume is in the right spot for swells
-the neck is simple enough to play
-once it is set up it stays in tune for a reasonable amount of time
      -looks metal
-pickups have moderate output and can get heavy (they have kindof a compressed bark to them)
      -feels moderately solid
      -kahler x-trem is smoooooothe
      -very very easy string changes

      BAD STUFF-
      -needs setup immediately
-needs maintainance ever so often (checking the input jack and internals for looseness)
-can sound a bit transparent at times
-sometimes the trem sticks in a slightly out of tune place and needs a tap tap to be back at ground zero.

-over all I would say that this guitar is worth a buy, probably the cheapest thing out there with a Kahler trem on it... id say its worth it just for the tremolo alone... that is if you like kahlers. :)

      Great guitar for the price

      By Efex

Comments about ESP LTD JH-200 Jeff Hanneman Signature Series Electric Guitar:

This guitar doesn't really have a lot of options. Only a volume and a tone nob and a three way selector switch. However, the Kahler Bridge is fully customisable and that's great.
The pickups are louder then EMGs ( I compared) and they sound very agressive. The inlays are quite nice and I looooove the neck and the access to the 24th fret. The binding around the neck give you superb playability.
For the price, I couldn't find better quality.

      Hmmm...

      By Grancha Guitarist

Comments about ESP LTD JH-200 Jeff Hanneman Signature Series Electric Guitar:

I've owned this guitar for almost a year and a half now. My first impression was that it was a good purchase... after a while of playing it I changed my mind. Here's why. The neck is a bit too fat for me, the inlays look cheap, the pickups are kind of muddy and to top it all off the electronics started coming loose. It started shorting out and buzzing... on stage! The only really good thing about this guitar is the Khaler trem. That bridge is absolutely wonderful and very versatile. Overall, though... if you're looking for a good ESP in this price range go with the MH-250. The JH-200 has too many issues.
