I own a 2009 model of the same guitar. The guitars are exactly the same except for the missing neck pickup. I think ESP took it away to lower the price of the guitar. Anyway, the guitar and amp are great and it sounds almost as good as the highest end models in the company. Get this guitar if you're a heavy metal or hard rock fan and you are just starting out.
