Awesome visuals with 'tude and tone to spare.
The ESP MH-250 is an electric guitar with tremolo that uses ESP LH-301 humbuckers to deliver high-output, sustained tone. The MH-250 guitar has a neck-thru agathis body and 3-way slotted toggle with push-pull coil tapping. The quilted maple top with white body binding coupled with white neck and headstock binding give the ESP MH-250 guitar jaw-dropping looks. The swift 3-piece maple neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard that's inlaid with offset blocks and the model name at the 12th XJ fret. A double-locking trem bridge keeps you in tune no matter how wild your whammying of the ESP MH-250 gets.

i bought this guitar about a year ago,it's not a bad guitar,if your wanting the FR bridge. if you change tunings alot like me, the locking nut will cause you proplems. everytime you change stings you will need to adjust the springs attached to the bridge.if you want a speed metal guitar, this is it!! the neck is super fast.. it always stays in tune. however it takes work becasuse the tuners wont hold tune so you can tighen the new screws.if you want a versitile guitar it not it Blues -NOCountry-NO Jazz - NO
I have own many different guitars. Nothing really compares for the money spent. About the only thing I don't like about is the pick-ups there not really bad, but I prefer 81/85 pick-up. Tone is pretty good. Quality is awsome. Value is great. Features are good. Overall this is a pretty good guitar to own.
The only problem I had with this guitar was the action. I fixed it myself, so its not that difficult. but if you have the money get it perfessionally fixed. I'm not a fan of the floyd rose but its soooo go to have! The neck is fast and feels great. Amazing buy!!
I bought this guitar thinking it would be a great guitar for the money, but when I got it I was pissed. The trem wasn't tuned the neck wasn't tuned, the spring tension screws for the tremolo were bent and the color wasn't black! it looks more like motor oil, it plays well now, but after much tuning. If you buy one take it to a luthier immediately.
This guitar is definitely worth every penny, but the neck isn't as fast as I'd like it to be, but that may be just the strings that are on there right now, and the ESP pickups don't get a very distorted sound, but that might be because of my amp or something. I would suggest putting Seymour Duncan blackouts in this, and not EMG's, because they aren't as good as everyone says they are.Other than that, the finish is veryyyy nice, and the silverish hardware looks really cool on this guitar because of the body color, this is probably one of the best guitars you can get in this price range, I highly, I mean highly recommend this guitar.
This has got to be the absolute best in this price range overall. The pickups sound good, the neck is fast and the finish is gorgeous. The Floyd can be a pain if you're going to play in a drop tuning, but once you get it set up it stays. I've had this guitar for a year now and I'm getting the sister model (NT) as soon as I can afford to. It's been through gigs, practice and everything without an issue in the slightest. BUY THIS GUITAR! You will not regret it!
I was real hesitant to buy this very guitar do to the trem. I never was a fan due to the inability to tune anywhere I want, but I have my old F model being updated with a new neck and pickups so I decided to go ahead and buy this. I'm very glad I did. I played the fixed bridge model and fell in love with it and this plays exactly the same as that one. Its smooth comfortable light weight and sounds incredible. Before this guitar I stayed away from painted necks because I always had problems with my hands being sweaty and limiting my movement due to stickiness that can occur, but this guitar has yet to give me any problems. The finish is beautiful, the binding is perfect, the neck-thru body design is fantastic and really helps with overall sustain and tone. This guitar always sounds sharp. I use bass fuzz distortion to make my low end extra think and it still sounds edgy. I'll probably get some EMGs for it soon enough but for now the 301s work tremendously well for passive pick-ups. Over all this guitar is an ESP so you now its going to be great. The look, the feel, the playability, and the comfort of this guitar is unmatched by any in this price range. Absolute perfection for the amount it costs.
I don't have this exact guitar (I have a MH-201) but they are very much the same, besides the fact that mine came with Seymour's. This was my first guitar to come with a floyd rose and I am very satisfied with it. With this guitar I just play faster compared to my crappy Kramer Pacer. Overall I'd recommend this guitar to anyone.
First off, this guitar is a BEAST! At a local music store I went to, hooked this up to a Peavey 6505, which is a nice amp for Van Halen music (my favorite!), and this thing screams!! Harmonics are like a knife through butter to pump out, the control pots are all silent, no scratchy sounds, and this is with all stock stuff. Fret job rocked, action was insanely low with NO fret buzz at all even if you took a good whack at the strings. Finish is BEAUTIFUL, nice smoky color quilted top style stuff, excellent binding on the neck and the body. Excellent lic. Floyd rose that you can abuse and will not slip out of tune forever! This guitar ROCKS!
