Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:
You cannot find a better all around guitar than this. Fast fretboard, active pickups with a great range of sound, shred-ability. I play everything from Iron Maiden and Opeth to ZZ Top and Phish and I rarely put this guitar down. I own a few PRS, Fenders, and Ibanez, and this ESP really keeps me going back for more. Two things could be changed on this axe, 1. The volume pot is too close to the strings and when playing at any level of intensity your hand will continue to move it. 2. The battery cover for the active pickups doesn't have an edge to take it off. I found myself digging into the side with a knife to pry the plastic from the body to change the battery.

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:
I'll begin by stating, as a disclaimer, that I do not own this specific guitar; I have what I believe to be its predecessor, the MH-400NT (rather than MH-350NT). I bought it about a month ago, and from what I can tell, ESP/LTD discontinued the 400 model and this guitar, the 350, serves as its replacement. They are likely not exactly the same, but all the specs listed here are the exact same as they are for my guitar, as far as I can tell. So, with that said, I LOVE THIS GUITAR! Lighting fast action, incredible sound from the EMG 81/85s, near perfect intonation, solidly constructed electronics, very easy to play (I particularly love the extra jumbo frets, they make the style I play (metalcore) much easier than on other guitars).Above all, it's aesthetically pleasing; a truly beautiful guitar. I have the see through black finish, and depending on the lighting, it's appearance changes at times to almost look more like a cobalt blue, but when in direct sunlight or a well-lit room, it's obviously black/dark dark gray. The lining that wraps around the body (I'm sure there's a technical term for this, not sure what though) is a dark tan and as it is wrapped around the body sides rather than the front, it's not very visible from a distance, but up close, it really dresses up the quilted maple top; the contrast in the two colors really make it 'pop,' if you will, or stand out. The back of mine's color is also somewhat deceiving, depending on the surrounding lighting conditions. In a darker room, it looks black, but under bright lights or sunlight, just like the body front, it's apparent that it's not what it appears to be in the dark (black or dark dark blue). It's actually a very deep burgundy/maroon/deep brown, somewhere in the spectrum between a maroon that's almost black and a very deep purple. That's about as well as I can describe the color, but suffice it to say that front to back, top to bottom, this is a BEAUTIFUL guitar. The EMGs speak (and/or play) for themselves. EMG's website's description of their 81s and 85s say that that allow players to 'slice' through bass notes and under tones to play lead melody lines and high-end riffs with clarity. The term 'slice' through the rest of the music is truly a very accurate term, they give such clarity between the top and bottom strings (and I play in drop C, CGCFAD, so if the distinguishable crispness between high and low notes is noticeable for me, it definitely will be for anyone playing in standard or drop-D tuning). The one thing that I would change about this guitar if I could would be to make the neck a tad thinner; Ibanezes and Jacksons have noticeably thinner necks, but then again, that's not really a fair comparison, as Ibanez and Jackson have set the industry standard for neck thickness.I paid [$] for this guitar and a hard case, and have been pleased with it every day since. Looking back, that was really a steal, probably one of the best deals/purchases I've ever made. This guitar is WELL worth the [$] list price; it plays just as well as $900-$1000 schecters, jacksons, charvels, PRSs and Ibanezes I've played on. Also, let go of any reluctance you might have to buy an LTD rather than an ESP. True, this guitar wasn't made in ESP's main factory in Korea, but it IS one of the highest quality models to come out of their factories in Japan and Indonesia. Just like Epiphones; there are some really nice, high quality Epiphones that completely out-do some of the lower-end Gibson equivalents. Just because the average LTD is lower quality than the average ESP does not mean that all LTDs are junk; I truly believe this guitar is above average. If you want a guitar that can play grunge and crunchy music but has the versatility to cut through the most brutal heavy metal riffs (anything from ZZtop to As I Lay Dying, or an Alan Jackson intro riff to Judas Priest's wailing lead lines), then get this guitar. The other guitars you could buy for this price would probably not compare; I think this would outplay any $600 schecter or Ibanez or Paul Reed Smith. Happy playing, rock on I guess, and take it from a guy who's wanted an above average guitar for a long time but never had the money and practically stole this one for 4 C-notes, this guitar is the one. It's great, and I don't see myself ever wanting to get rid of it. Buy this guitar. NOTE: Reading through what I just wrote, I can see that it may appear as though I'm like a paid spokesperson for ESP or EMG or something, but I PROMISE, that's NOT the case. I just love this guitar and literally don't have ANYTHING negative to say about it! It's a true feat of craftsmanship.
Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:
I play rock, metal, classical, and a bit of blues and this guitar does an outstanding job (well, except for classical maybe).
First thing I noticed the first I played this guitar was how smooth and thin the neck was and how easy it was to reach past the 12th fret. This is definatley built to shred. The EMG pick-ups on this guitar are amazing--clear and crisp. I do a bit of recording and this guitar has had the clearest tone of all guitars I've recorded.
Right out of the box the guitar felt really sturdy. The body is nice and thin not as bulky as some other guitars I own or played. The only con I found on this guitar was the tuning gear. At a glance, one of the pins where the string wraps around looked perfect, but upon closer inspection I noticed that the pin was being slightly pulled up by the tension of the string. When I changed the strings I realized that the pin was a bit loose so I did a simple adjustment and it sat flush with the headstock.
I bought this guitar to replace an Ibanez ICT700 that was stolen back in '09. I have to say that I definitely got more for my money wth this guitar. The playibilty of this guitar is amazing. Great sustain and high ouput.
Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:
Bought it 5 months ago and have been knockin' em dead ever since! Originally intended for it to be my practice axe but it's simply too sweet to hold back. The EMGs on it rule when it comes to thick and chunky. And at the flick of the switch...screaming tonal utopia! The fretboard set-up is what really sold me. Fast, smooth, and tight. The tune-o-matic bridge holds amazingly well. It is clearly created for metal BUT the cleans are really sweet as well! I have AM Strats and Ibanez S. This is my first ESP. I've been missing out! Awesome guitar!
Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:
I've owned this guitar for quite a while. I play in a metal band and I use this guitar for practice shows and studio. For anyone who wants ear busting solos/harmonics to heart stopping breakdowns, this guitar is for you.
