This guitar is really cool! it looks like nothing i've seen before! i like the way esp made their own design, and didn't just copy the gibson sg series! they look the same but this one is shiftet vertically along the fretboard! looks cooler than an sg! the features are ok. a tremolo would have been nice, but this guitar probably wouldn't look good with one anyway! It is top of the notch quality. I have no idea where it was made (maybe indonesia/malaysia???) but its real astonishing how everything fits together! overall this is a great guitar! the strings bend preetty well,...has a comfort grip,..if you like punk and metal or hard rock,..this guitar is perfect becuse its really balanced and tries to stay in a horizontal position!(not like the stratocasters 30-45 degree holding angles!)go for it!!!!

I was happy with this guitar for about 9 months but then i started to get fed up with it. The frets got way to small and i dont even go up to the 24th fret. It's also heavy as a brick. I was also disapointed with the pickup output. If ur thinking about getting this guitar i wouldnt suggest it. An epiphone sg would be much better.

Had it for almost 2 years now. still sounds great, great sound, tone pot is awesome esp. with coil tap! FM finish looks great and gains many many compliments. super thin neck is super fun to play on. all other guitar necks feel chubby to me now. string stay in tune. finish must be hit VERY hard to crack. i do have a spider web crack after a cabinet corner... my G gets a little bend in it after a month only makes tuning a little tedious for that string.
i have had many many guitars but none of them have been as great as this one the sound and tone is off the hook when i use dist and the single coil push pull makes it all the better on cleanthey coulda made it a little less but oh well
I bought this guitar earlier this month and it has been hard for me to put it down. The neck is nice and thin, which is great for fast playing. It came with the ESP stock pickups, which are pretty flexible between a lead treble sound and a fat rhythm sound, although I have a little trouble with harmonics. There were only a couple problems I had with this guitar. The Volume knob is starting to come a little loose, and my neck strap button is starting to come out. Just minor problems that can easily be repaired. I recommend this guitar to anyone that plays fast and complex parts or enjoy fat tones or treble tones in one axe.
Had it for a few months now as my 3rd electric. It beats the more expensive guitar I used to have which was an epiphone 1961 reissue SG. Great build quality, killer finish, very sleek neck, and great sound. Only thing is you will have to get used to the neck dive. I already owned an SG before so I was used to it but this was slightly worse. But you do get used to it and then it isn't an issue anymore. If your looking for one of those perfect guitars for the money this is it.
I played this at a local shop after seeing it on this site. This was the ESP I had ever played so I did not know what to expect. I was surprised. The body is unique and it felt comfortable, not awkward. The neck was comfortable and it made playing even more enjoyable. I was unimpressed with the pickups that they had but if you replaced them with higher priced EMGs then you would have a great guitar. For the price I would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a guitar with an aggressive look but a beautiful sound.
I got this guitar at my local music store in See-Through Black, and i have to say.....WOW. It wasn't as heavy as my other ESP. The pickups are excellent, They have a lot a crunch, and chords sound beautiful on it. For a player on bugdet I recommend this guitar to you.
This guitar is great for the price. You can get a very nice fat and heavy tone with those pickups. The neck is confortable and fast. Also, the flame maple finish is awesome! It look cooler in real than on internet pictures. You can't go wrong with this guitar.
I played this guitar a little on a crappy Fender practice amp and loved how it sounded. I decided to buy it and got it home and plugged into my Peavey XXL 1/2 stack, and it did way more than please my ears. The EMG HZ's deliver punches like a heavyweight boxer. Beautiful cleans, Handles high gain with no complaints, this guitar handles low tunings very well, has low action with little to no fret buzz. very easy to rip on. I've played guitar for 15 years, and have owned fenders, epiphones, ibanez and most recently a gibson sg was my main guitar. Although there is a large difference in price, the Viper200FM has now become my main, go-to guitar.
i had this guitar for about 2 years or so and its never let me down it keeps on rocking 1 major prob is the neck is kinda heavy by thats it everything else is just perfect the tone is great and the fret board.......too good you play fast solo that you couldnt even imagine possible becus its that comfortable =D get it if i were you
Well... where do I start...This guitar is the best thing you can get with the best value for the best price... the emg humbucker pickups are purely insane... perfect for obtaining that perfected sound for those crazy solos... and even more awesome to look at... if you want a guitar with the best quality and look for the best price... the Viper 200 fm is your best choice...
