    absolutly incredible for the price

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

this guitar is incredibly outstanding especially for the cost. flawless cosmetics that are stunningly beautiful that the pictures don't do it justice at all and sound quality that will blow your mind with its high quality pick ups. It is a very versatile guitar capable of playing anything from jazz to metal. It even projects its self surprisingly well acoustically for only having a single F-hole. All it needs is a miner set up job but that is something standard that needs to be done with any new guitar. The bigsby pulls it out of tune a little bit but its really not that bad.I purchased some locking gotoh tunners and that got rid of that issue. I have owned eight guitars some that costed much more than this one but don't even compare to this guitars playability and over all quality I cant believe this is a Korean made guitar its truly top of the line and I highly recommend it to anyone with a budget of under a thousand dollars looking for a semi-hollow body guitar. this ESP freaking rocks! Plus musicians friend has great costumer service so you can be assured you will be well taken care of.

    excellent, incredible price

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

I can't believe it took me so long to come across this guitar... it's exactly what I was looking for. I've only been playing for about two years and as badly as I wanted a fancy, expensive guitar, I knew my first electric would have to be something cheaper. I was SO excited the first time I came across the ESP PC-1V. It was in a local guitar store and the moment I sat down to play it I knew it was the one for me. Beautiful sound and very fun to play, even without an amplifier. I recommend it to ANYONE looking for a new guitar, not just beginners like me...Several experienced guitarists at my college have been awed by it. A WONDERFUL GUITAR.

    Excellent value

    By Steve-KnLBu

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

I own two of these guitars (PC-1V and PC-1). The PC-1V here is obviously the Bigsby equipped guitar while the PC-1 is the stoptail version (no longer made). I've been playing for 16 years, own mostly USA-made guitars, and can say that these are excellent quality or their price range. I've gigged with mine a few times and they hold up well aside from the slight tuning issues that Bigsby equipped guitars are known for.The deciding factor for me was the pickups. You get a genuine USA Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro set which makes a tremendous difference compared to other budget semi-hollow guitars. These things feel solid, play smoothly, and just look plain cool. The inlays are also a nice touch- a combination of abalone and pearloid. ESP has a dedicated line of XTone hardshell cases available too which I purchased for each of mine.I only knock a point off for the PC-1V because the addition of locking tuners would have been nice for added Bigsby tuning stability, though it may have driven the cost up. Like ANY Bigsby bridge your tuning tends to go off by a quarter step or so from time to time.XTone- A hidden gem.

The best value for your money! If you want the semi-hollow body Gibson sound, this is the ticket!Doesn't need much set-up at all. Mine is excellent. I have found that ESP products are top of the line! This is my second ESP product and ther quality is second to none. I will put it up to any american made production line instruments. You will not be disappointed.

    X-Tone a very good Value

    By Skew448

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

When I first received it, the guitar was as expected. No set what so ever. Also it still needs some minor fret leveling. I set the truss rod, bridge, intonation, and fresh strings it plays fairly well. Overall tone and feel are very good for a guitar in this price range. It still plays a little stiff. I haven't figured out if its the string break over the rollers or the nut. The guitar is suppose to have an earvona nut. But I cannot see any difference. I will say it stays in tune very well even with bigsby usage.

    Overlooked Jewel...

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

I bought this guitar about a year ago...and I have been so pleasantly surprised with it's quality.1st off ESPs offer so many features and quality craftmanship for the $$$ that they charge. To get a SD-JB in the bridge and SD-Jazz in the neck, a bigsby, pretty inlay, gold hardware and a FM-Top, you just can't beat the X-tone. I would WAY rather have this guitar than some other high priced guitar that cost 3xs this one. Plus not that many people have one, so it really stands out. Great for Rhythymn and riffs, this guitar is quite underrated and overlooked. it is sweetness.

    Great Guitar for the Money

    By penguinrockr222

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

I got the ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby as my primary guitar and have not been dissapointed. I've been playing it for almost a year and have had few problems. The only notable problem ive had was a buzz, but it was able to be fixed. The only drawback is that the Bigsby is VERY hard to string but isn't as intense when you get used to it. Is a bit pricey but wouldn't be expensive. It is definitely worth the money because (as clichd as it sounds) this guitar really can play anything.

    Poor Intonation

    By TaylorGuy

    from Hampton, VA

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

Bought this as a second guitar a few months ago. For a Korean guitar, the build quality is nice, as is the tonal quality. The guitar has always had some fret buzz, which I've been unable to get rid of. I took it in to be setup and was told the tech was unable to set intonation, since the saddles were already at maximum travel. I confirmed this with my electronic tuner. I'm considering either warranty repair, or having a Buzz Feiten system installed, so it will be playable. If intonation and fret buzz were not a factor, this would be a great guitar. I also own a PRS Santana SE and CE24 and use a Peavey Valve King 112 at home.

    We have a winner!

Comments about ESP PC-1V Paramount Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby:

The first thing that drew me to this beauty was its beautiful looks (white and gold). I plugged this into a vintage Ampeg Reverbojet and this thing gets whatever sound you want. The Duncan pickups really pay off. Anything from Guns N' Roses to Pat Metheney. Bigsby stayed in tune for the 30min I played it. Only quarrel is that the price is a tad step, but sure as hell isn't expensive.
