I love my Xtone PC-2. It's got an awesome tone and is well put together. I go for a Scofield type tone. It's perfect for jazz/fusion and even rock. The pickups are killer. Beautiful round tone out of the neck, which I use 90% of the time. I cut down to the bridge when I want a more rockin' sound for leads although I often leave it at the neck for leads too.
I am loving this guitar. The pickups are hot and the guitar is about as versatile an axe as you can get for the price. Warm jazzy sounds, plus hard rock sounds, it's the best value out there for a jazz guitar that has the garlic for rock and roll too. Looks great and feels great. An excellent piece.
I picked up this guitar, looking for an affordable but hip-looking jazz guitar to study, and I am not dissapointed. The pickups are hot, and the tones are marvelous. I get metal rock to warm jazz out of this beautiful guitar. It feels solid, looks great, sounds super. I have recorded with it also, and on disc it sounds excellent. This is a great guitar.
This guitar's great! It can play jazz, metal, rock, country, blues, and so on... Great pickups, looks great on stage, it would be a really cool for collection.
