The ESP XTONE A-10E Acoustic-Electric Guitar is full-bodied and sounds great. The spruce top is resonant and provides good sustain and clarity. The mahogany back and sides adds snap and a general boost to the middle range of the spectrum while reducing boominess.
This ESP's rosewood bridge and fingerboard are perfectly dressed, while its neck inlays and rosette bring a touch of class to the different finishes available.
A special ESP Piezo pickup system w/2-band EQ & onboard chromatic tuner faithfully translates the XTONE's acoustic sounds to an amp or P.A. with enough sonic adjustment to find your sound.

I BOUGHT THE GREEN VERSION ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY'S STUPID DEAL OF THE DAY AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THE QUALITY GUITAR I GOT FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY. I GOT A LOT MORE THAN I EXPECTED BUYING A GUITAR SIGHT UNSEEN. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ESP MADE ACOUSTIC GUITARS AND I REALLY JUST BOUGHT THIS ONE FOR SORT OF A "KNOCK AROUND GUITAR" TO SAVE USING MY GIBSONS AS MUCH. I LIKE IT A LOT AND I THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYBODY'S COLLECTION. PLUGGED IN, THE SOUND IS A LITTLE SHARPER, BUT DIFFERENT SOUNDS ARE A BIG REASON YOU HAVE DIFFERENT GUITARS, RIGHT? AND THE GREEN IS SO PRETTY, EVEN MY WIFE LIKES IT AND DIDN'T ASK THE USUAL "DO YOU NEED ANOTHER ONE?"

I own this guitar for about two weeks and I have to say that I wasn't quite impressed by it. I love ESP guitars, in fact I own a LTD EC-1000 and I think it's a great instrument, but I believe that they have to work a little bit more on this acoustic. It sounds fine, both acoustic and electric, in fact I was impressed by the sound of the pickup when I recorded it, I don't believe that it's just a begginers guitar, I believe that its tone is fair enough to do more profesional work; however it came with an ugly flaw in the top which made its beauty lose its value. It had serious fretbuzz in the high E-string on the 5th fret, but I fixed it...which I wasn't supposed to do. The tuners aren't so good, at least in comparison with the ones installed on my LTD EC-1000 which are awesome. I wish I could return it but I live outside the U.S. so it'd cost me more to bring it back than what the guitar costs. I think I'm gonna sell it and get a Yamaha or an Ovation...I'm not quite sure. Despite the shortcomings I believe that for its tone this guitar is worth buying it.

This is a great Acoustic Electric. The action was a little high but i had that lowered. It feels and plays amazing now. The neck feels like a Electric that's a plus for me. But it still sounds like a great Acoustic. ESP did a amazing job on their new Acoustics.

Be aware that this specific model has a slightly smaller body than most acoustics. I ajusted the neck immediately and was able to achieve an incredibly low and comfortable action without any buzz! the inlays and paint are amazing and i wouldnt be afraid to gig with this guitar at all. my only complaint is that its a lil sensitive when plugged in...u can hear each n every finger movement...

I have owned this guitar for about a week now and have fallen in love with it. One of the few complaints I have about it is that when it is being ran directly through a PA the bass kicks up quite a bit and it sounds kinda electronic. Other than though it is a great fully functional guitar.
