Full dreadnought sound, super comfortable neck, and an irresistible price.
The D-5 is a great starter acoustic guitar, combining ESP’s attention to detail with a price that will allow nearly any musician to get into playing acoustic guitar. Even at its very affordable price, the D-5 is a classic dreadnought that offers a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and rosewood fingerboard like guitars that cost many times more.
Easy to play
What sets this guitar apart from other dreadnoughts is how easy it is to play. The thin U neck contour feels just perfect and stays comfortable during long practice sessions or performances. The D5 also features extra jumbo frets that are more often found on electric guitars, and which make fingering notes faster and easier.
The D5 dreadnought won't disapoint in the tone department. The body design and tone woods of this ESP dreadnought guitar deliver plenty of volume and balanced sound, perfect for performing solo or jamming with others.
With advantages in both playabilty and sound, the D5 is a smart choice for beginners. It's also an attractive option for experienced electric players looking to cross over into the acoustic realm.

Comments about ESP Xtone D-5 Acoustic Guitar:
This is the first acoustic guitar that I have bought and after playing it for a few hours it sounds amazing. This thing is loud! It has a nice bright, warm sound to it. I have played higher end acoustics and it is comparable, don't let its price fool you.
The fret board is smooth and very fast (I'm able to shred on it). The extra jumbo frets allow for easier finger placement and faster playing. It stays in tune like it should even after rough playing. I was impressed by this guitar, ESP did a great job on it. Buy it if your thinking about it, you won't regret it!
