Loaded with Stratitude and a pair of warm, rich-sounding pickups.

Often copied, but never surpassed, the Stratocaster is arguably the world’s most-loved electric guitar. Electrifying the music world since its release in 1954, its natural, versatile sound made the Stratocaster the benchmark for exceptional guitar tones. The American Professional Stratocaster HH ShawBucker isn’t a re-imagining of the classic design; it’s the authentic original model, evolved for today’s players.

The choice of musical legends since its release, the Stratocaster feel and sound set the world on fire, powering music movements from rock ‘n’ roll to EDM, and everything in-between. In your hands this Strat is ready to navigate the creative twists and turns of your music, inviting you to express yourself in new ways through your playing.

The pair of warm, rich-sounding ShawBucker humbucking pickups are voiced specifically for each position, producing powerful, nuanced tones with original Fender sonic DNA. Retain high-end clarity when adjusting the volume controls, thanks to the new treble-bleed tone circuit that lets your tone shine through in all its glory. The new modern “Deep C”-shaped neck profile feels just right in your hand while the narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately and play perfectly intonated chords.

The best of yesterday and today, the American Professional Stratocaster HH Shawbucker is the latest form of electric inspiration from Fender. Step up and stake your claim to a legend. Includes hardshell case.

Comments about Fender American Professional Stratocaster HH Shawbucker Rosewood Fingerboard:

I really hate it when people who don't even own an instrument leave pointless and nonsensical reviews. So unlike the previous reviewer, I actually purchased this Fender Am-Pro Strat HH and just LOVE it! It was set-up beautifully right out of the box. The finish was flawless, the set-up great, and I really like the antique Olive (khaki) color. I've been wanting an HH strat for some time. I love the feel and playability of strats in general (esp. vs Gibson et.al. which I do own and rarely play do to the comfort factor). This strat is the perfect lighter weight. Much to my surprise, I absolutely love the feel of the new neck -- it feels great in hand without feeling chunky or limiting playability and the satin finish is smooth as smooth can be and very fast. Fretwork is also very nice. The 5-way switch for the pups offers great tonal options with the humbuckers and it sounds great regardless of the amp I plug into. Thanks for another great guitar, Fender!

Comments about Fender American Professional Stratocaster HH Shawbucker Rosewood Fingerboard:

This would be a great guitar if you change the pickups and neck. This guitar seems like A failed attempt to copy Ibanez or ESP. Although, they do a great job of copying an Indo case.....very cheap!

Comments about Fender American Professional Stratocaster HH Shawbucker Rosewood Fingerboard:

I especially love the way the necks are being built for the Professional series this year. The frets are taller, a bit narrower.. smooth as glass on the tops. They do indeed bend better, farther and smoother. A 'boutique' feel. The bone nut is described by Fender as sounding "organic", but that is cop out description of great tone. They probably just don't want to say it is a *superior sound" to cheap *ss plastic or corian. The quality of rosewood on mine is dark, rich and thicker than years past. Fret edges are smooth. String width at the nut is pretty wide..nearly to the edge of fret, but no danger of string going over the edge of fretboard. Nut was cut beautifully and action at 1st fret is high enough to not buzz at all. I use 10's& doing the adjustment of truss rod was a breeze. The rod wasn't 'tight'. It moved freely. Neck profile isn't 'extreme' at all. Electronics: treble bleed can make pickups sound a bit bright and harsh at low volumes, esp in 2&4 positions. 2&4 almost sounded out of phase to me. Might rewire later& get rid of bleed circuit. Rather have a 10 picofarad on vol pot (like Carvins) to reduce bass swell as I increase volume than other way around. Concerned about how many pcs of wood body is made of. Seam runs down centre under the paint. But, it may be a 4 pc body. Fender *has* done that recently & admitted to it over phone. Even ash is 3 pc now on some bodies. Very, very cheap and po dunk thing to do! That's Yamaha Pacifica and Epiphone territory. Vibrato? Couldn't get the arm to 'pop in" , even with due force it still wouldn't engage or pop in. Got rid of it & put in older vibrato from '06 w/ "quality" *solid steel* saddles. Guitar is still great regardless of critical comments. Get one on sale and enjoy! Like to see new, less dingy colors. Grey tone ok on blue, not on green. Gimme candy red or true 'surf colors' any day of the week! ..I sit with this for hours!! Love fullness and frequency range of hmbkrs!

Service and delivery comments:

Bought at local shop. Shipped from Fender to local shop within a week. The case quality is ok. One of the screws needed to be tightened on the outside.
