Comments about Fender American Standard Hand-Rubbed Ash Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I've been hoping for a Bruce Springsteen signature tele for years but that's not in the cards. So I stumbled upon this and couldn't pass it up. Beautiful guitar with classic rock look and classic tele sound. It does it all. I play a lot of singer/songwriter type stuff on it but it's also great for a harder, punk sound (with the right amp and pedals.)

Body looks amazing, pickups are crisp and the neck is super fast. I think it's one of the last guitars Fender did with the old style Am.Standard pickups and neck (before they were changed for the 2012 Am.Standard models.) Case is solid as well.

Bottom line: no matter what style of music I may play in the future, I'm sure this guitar will be able to meet the demands. In my experience, a tele is probably the most versatile guitar out there.

The price is so-so, but everything is expensive these days. Plus, it's an investment.

On second thought, you probably shouldn't buy it. I don't want anyone else having a guitar as cool as mine!
