An irresistible combination of familiar body design and humbucking pickups.

For the high-output guitarist who wants more power from a Tele, the flagship American Standard guitar lineup rocks extra hard with the distinctively formidable American Standard Telecaster HH. Other premium features include a maple neck with comfortable "modern C" profile and four-screw Micro-Tilt neck plate, rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, three-way blade pickup switching, three-ply parchment pickguard, 6-saddle American Standard strings-through-body Tele with bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate. Comments about Fender American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard HH Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Fender USA Tele HH. A beautiful guitar, well made. I have the Olympic White with maple neck. Neck is smooth and plays like butter. Easy, fast. The body has a tummy cut and is comfortable and lite compared to my Les Paul traditional. The finish is a beauty, kind of like enamel paint on a old hot rod. A traditional look with a modern thin neck.
Compared to a traditional tele it is warmer and fatter. Compared to a Les Paul it is brighter, but warms up nicely with the tone knob rolled back. The cleans are chimey, clear and bright. With my rig tweaked the way I like it, I hear some quack when clean. Suprising with two humbuckers. The clean tones do well with effects. When pushed, whether with overdrive or distortion, it retains clarity. No muddy water here. The pickups are not as hot as the 57 classics in my Les Paul.
This guitar has limits however. It is not made for modern metal, the pickups are not hot like emg's. It also veers away some from the traditional tele tone if country is your thing. A tweener? Maybe for some. For me it's a traditional looking beauty with a modern neck. Clear and clean but can turn into a snarling beast when pushed.

Go Get One. 2 if you can!!

Comments about Fender American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard HH Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I ordered an open box 3 tone ...it was a total disappointment, frets were not level, action very high and really bad fret buzz, (the finish was very good) immediately sent it back and decided to try a new one in Black. MF was easy to work with on the exchange.
Well...it is absolutely wonderful, came out of the box needing almost no set up at all. (Minor intonation ajustment) It plays and sounds wonderful, good action, and intonation. The finish is excellent, and the electronics work as they should...this is one of those rare guitars that really is more than the sum of its parts. Very full and warm with good sustain, I feel no need to swap pick ups or anything else on the guitar...well did swap strings of course.
I have never written a review before (in 40 years of playing), but I felt this instrument deserved the attention.
Does it sound like a "normal" Tele? No, it doesn't, but maybe that is stating the obvious.
Overall, I'm very glad I took a chance on this variation of the Tele, even if it did take two tries to get it right.

Comments about Fender American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard HH Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I bought this to add a fatter Fender tone to my palette and it's every bit of that. The hard tail is handy for keeping resonance when I have dropped tuning in the set list. At 7.6 lbs it's super comfortable for long sets, and the contoured back adds to that comfort (sorry traditionalists!). If you want Tele tone and playability, plus the ability to go fat and sweetly overdriven, this guitar is your axe.
