        I've had many guitars over the years and always watned a Strat but never bought one until now. I am very pleased with this guitar. It did require some setup to meet my personal preferences and once dialed in it preforms every bit as well as I hoped for.

        The neck is very comfortable and easy to play. Im not used to the more rounded radius but it did not present any problems.

        The neck and middle pickups deliver that great classic Strat sound the neck being my favorite. The Diamondback humbucker in the bridge while not high output does deliver some great tone and I can get some good crunch when overdriven. Switching to a lead chanel on my amp yields some great sustain and plenty of sear.

        Overall the guitar has a great feel with wonderful tone and the jade pearl metallic paint job is superb. I find myself spending hours playing this guitar, very happy with it.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            This is one awesome guitar. I bought this strat
            about three weeks ago and put it thru its paces
            and it is one of the best playing guitars that I
            have ever owned. The maple fretboard is very
            smooth & fast and the neck is very comfortable.
            The HSS is a very versatile guitar creating whatever tones/sounds that you need. The fender light gauge strings that came on the guitar stay in tune very well and are easy to bend.
            Musicians Friend is a great company to buy from and they offer some nice discounts. I will definitely buy from them again. Rock On!!

              I'm 69 years old and all my life I wanted a strat. I was a classical guitar major and for years played my 1964 pre-CBS Jazz Bass in many groups. I recently purchased a Gretsch but I have not touch it since the strat took over. Love the sound, the feeling, the pickups are awsome. Great guitar and great service. Have not played in groups for over 25 years, but I am getting very itchy to hit the stage again. Thanks
