The classic Strat lines with the fat tone of humbuckers on a hardtail.
For sustainful distortion and rich round tone the Fender American Stratocaster HH Hard Tail Electric Guitar is a hot rod that sports a Sidewinder pickup at the neck and a super-hot Black Cobra humbucker at the bridge. The maple neck with rosewood fretboard fits snug and solid into the alder body for resonance you can really feel. S-1 switching on the master volume with front pickup tone control plus special no-load tone control that acts like a normal tone control from 0 to 5, then starts pushing the gain from 5 to 10 for wicked snarl and bite. The dual humbuckers and S-1 switching make this a very versatile Stratocaster.
All the coolness and twice the fatness! A sweet axe to help you develop your signature sound. Put it in the cart.

Dual humbuckers and the S-1 switching makes this a very versatile guitar. Hard tail was the best choice for me. Put 10's or elevens on it for better feel. If it had an ash body, this would be unbeatable. Very well done and comfortable guitar. I was a Gibson lover...Now My Fender American HH Hardtail is my passion.
Ive had this guitar for about a year and it serves me incredibly well. sounds great with great tone. Stays it tune great and it looks fantastic. I got chrome silver with rosewood. I've played many gigs with it with a marshall tube stack and it's truly great. Also lots of recording and it's great there as well. Even a hardshell case is thrown in.It's my #1 guitar by far.
I bought this guitar from MF in 2000. At that time they came w/ Semour Duncan pickups. I have not found a better overall guitar in my 18 years of playing. If you have never played this guitar you will be very surprised. It does not sound like a classic strat.
This guitar is so awesome. At first, I didn't want to spend that much on a guitar - but you definitely get what you pay for and more. I love it
