    CAN'T PUT IT DOWN

Comments about Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

I am 100% satisfied, and both the American Deluxe Strat and Tele have gone up in price since I purchased them. If this guitar stays around very long, it will also go up in value. If you want a guitar that is an all round giging/recording ax, jump on this right away. It could go for more than $2,000.00 dollars and I would still buy one. Remember. I'm comparing this with some great guitars I already own.

    I

Im goint to try and not take much of your time and get to the facts of this guitar. First of all I have a Fender American Strat, Tele, Jimmy Vaughn Signature, Gibson Les Paul Classic, Gibson Les Paul double-cut-away, PRS McMacarty all rosewood neck, and a pre China made Epiphone Les Paul. Each one is a fantasic guitar, and I use them all in my recording studio. However, I had always wanted a Fender Telecaster semi hollow body and when I saw this one in natural wood I jumped on it. The weight is less that any other guitar I have, but the sound is huge. This guitar can play any type of sound you want from country to metal. The humbucker pickups are amazing, and I use the neck setting for most of my playing. Some times I just go into my studio to look at it hanging on the wall, but most of the time I get it down. Regardless of the amp I use (Marshall JVM410H with Marshall JCM900 1960 Lead cab, Fenders Twin & Deluxe Reverb 65 reissue, Fender Blues Jr. NOS, and Vox AC15C1, this guitar brings out the best of sounds. My PRS was more than $1000.00 dollars in cost over this telecaster, but I love playing this one the best. From neck to bridge settings, clean to distortion, they all sound great.
As with all of my Fenders, this is well built and easy to slide up and down the neck. The finish on the guitar brings the wood out in such a manner that it is a work of art. It is made to be a work horse, and you can believe I will be riding it for a long while.
As with my PRS being more money, so are both of my Gibsons. Nevertheless, I would pay more money to get this guitar if something happen to it. For me, it was just what I was looking for and looks better in person. The case that comes with it is deluxe made, and is far better than the standard guitar case that comes with other models.
