You can actually get a 50's Stratocaster and a fender blues junior for only a great price. The sound is amazing on these.
I love the amp and the guitar. The setup is just as I remember as a young player in Southern California.( my Strat is the baby blue color )In those days I couldnt afford the Strat or the amp,now that I have them I am really happy with the sound and playability. One complaint is I cannot seem to get the hum out of the amp,I bought a noise reducing effect but it has taken the presence away( almost compressed it ).So I turn the amp down a little and mic it to the PA.The tube sound and the chicken knobs are awesome !!Other than that, I love the equiptment.I own about 10 guitars and about 5 amps.I play these first.
if you want to play gnarly surfin rifs and/or some rad hip blues, hook yourself up with this guitar, it's way cool dude.
