The Fender CD220 SCE guitar is built to Fender's strict specifications, using solid woods, beautiful appointments, and integrated electronics and controls to dial in your ideal amplified sound, quickly and effortlessly.
The Fender CD-220SCE features exotic and beautiful laminated burl ash back and sides, topped off with a solid spruce top. The acoustic-electric guitar also features a Fender-designed dreadnought body, X-bracing, and die-cast tuners. The cutaway body design provides comfort when accessing the upper-register frets. The rosewood bridge features a compensated bone nut, so your acoustic-electric guitar stays in precise tuning from song to song, and sounds great doing so.
The Presys Onboard Preamp System offers maximum control, performance, and quality in a small, unobtrusive format. The Fender guitar's compact sophisticated Presys system features Volume, Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display. Presys preamps also include a pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup for solder-free, plug-and-play installation; a low- battery indicator; low-profile control knobs; and a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment.
Other unique features on the Fender CD220SCE acoustic-electric guitar include: matching burl ash headstock overlay, factory mounted forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, dual action truss rod, dot position inlays, no pickguard, black bound fingerboard, inlaid back center stripe mosaic, and black with white dot bridge pins.

I own more than 30 guitars and I always keep coming back to the Fender Exotic Woods. They always have outstanding sound for the money. I own PRS, Gibson, Strats but for acoustics give me a Fender everytime.

First of all, this guitar is stunning!! The Ash Burl looks even better in person!! Im not much of an acoustic person, so when I got the guitar, I wasnt very happy with it! The factories tend to set up acoustics kinda high, but after my guitar tech set it up, it is AMAZING!!! It plays very easy, sounds fantastic, and the electronics work very well!! I was actually thinking about getting rid of the guitar at first, but after it was set up, I wouldnt even think of giving up this gitar......very, VERY NICE!!!!
