Playing this guitar day and night it stays in tune for very long periods of time, beatiful finish, great case this guitar is taking the place of my strat right now. crazy. No problem with the action as others have stated the actions is literallly lower than my strat and still no buzz. New best friend for anyone
Fishman system works good, tuner works but is a little annoying. The case fits so perfectly they were made for each other. Change the strings though.
Good tone no hums or buzzes or anything like that. I love this guitar really. Only issue is with finish on the fingerboard(extremely bad) it looks like streaks of stain or something. But Musicians friends is making it up to me in discounts. They offered to take it back but i think it gives it character. The sunburst is perfect and the back and neck are gorgeous. The case of the finger board is an isolated incident for me with MF. Smooth through fender frontman amp.
Probably one of the best deals out there. I would recommend it to anyone, and musicians friend will do whatever it takes to make you happy. The case is awesome, great guitar under the fender name, fishman electronics. This price cannot be beat.

My advise would be to save your money for something of higher quality.
First of all the frets are not polished, which in turn when you bend a string, it makes a harsh grainy sound. Second the pick up system was terrible on the one I recieved, 6th string was loud, 5th half the volume was gone, 4th and 3rd was silent, 2nd and 1st was three quarter of what the 5th was. The only good thing I can say is that it chorded about 98% true up and down the neck. Tuning keys were OK, so do not expect Grovers tuners. The hard shell case was the best thing about this package, however no one should buy a guitar for the case.

Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Excellent guitar for the price..the tuner works good..also sounds great when plugged into a Fender frontman amp..it chords very easy..tuners are okay but if you're looking for high quality tuners like on a Martin, then you need to buy a Martin and pony up about $2500..I'm very pleased with the guitar and would encourage anyone looking for a great guitar at a great price, this is definitely the right choice.

Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I bought this guitar in 2007, Its a fantastic first guitar, good enough that it was never a struggle to play, cheap enough to not be a huge investment. My dad is a veteran guitar player of almost 30 years and he helped me pick it out, much better than most similarly priced guitars.
I still have and love this guitar, If it ever broke to the point where it was unrepairable i would buy another one.
Mine is black, If i could go back i would get a different finish as it is a pain to keep it clean and finger print clean, still sounds and plays like a champ though.

Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
this would be guitar #28 I've owned and really it deserves its high rating. Some people expect perfect frets and all for under 300$ come on 300$ isn't what it used to be in the 90s or whatever.
The tuners I'd switch to Grovers 18:1 or whatever you've had a great experience with and maybe a new set of bridge pins but besides that you get a very solid guitar. To polish the frets a little bit of micro mesh or steel wool and you're set it shouldn't be that big of a concern especially if it's your first name brand guitar.
Nato is a nice wood for tone , it's mahogany grown in the middle east so it shares a lot of the same characteristics in tone. The spruce top may be laminate but big deal. The feel matches this 1200$ BC Rich Warbeast I had it's amazing what a little bit of glossy polyurethane can do. When I saw a fishman preamp and pickup system on this I was happy because even though Fender slapped their name on it anyone even a hardcore electric guitar player knows fishman.
so this has room to grow on and has potential to be a professional guitar don't let the marketing get in the way. I mean for this price you're not getting a Taylor , Martin , Rainsong or high end Ovation that is common sense but it's 60% the player anyways. But around this price range also check out Ovation a plastic bowled one sounded as nice as 1000$+ acoustics I played in various shops and models.

A great guitar but it was to wide for my short arms. Sent it back for another type. No complaints re: the guitar.

Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I love the sound and feel, but I hate the rear strap button. The button is plastic with a nail in the center. I had a lot of trouble putting a strap lock on it. I probably will not buy another Fender acoustic because of this.

I had no experience with a guitar. i decided to buy this one and i am so glad i did. very easy to learn on. sounds amazing great price.
Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
A good looking accoustic with beautiful finish. The guitar has a mellow resonance to it; fret action is ok; stays in tune after long play. It even comes with a hard shell case, what a bang for the buck!

This is a great value I think. It sounds great and the fingerboard has a good feel to it.
Comments about Fender CD60CE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I plan to keep the guitar as I do many gigs at rest homes, etc. It does not fret quite like my Martin and I would not expect it to for the price I paid for it [$]. I would suggest modification of the battery connection to allow the wires to snap onto the connectors of the 9volt battery. It is a very nice looking guitar for the money.
