Comments about Fender CDN90 Classical Guitar:

I bought this guitar for my girlfriend for Valentines Day. She loves playing it and loves how it looks. It has a nice smooth tone and frets easy. I'm going to say this guitar makes a great gift for someone just starting out, or wants to learn how to play. The finish is flawless and the wood sounds very nice.

Good Beginner/Intermediate Guitar

By Lara Chartier

from Missouri

Comments about Fender CDN90 Classical Guitar:

We purchased this for my son a few years ago. He was just starting to take an interest in Classical Guitar.

Overall, it has been very good. Even his instructor, mentioned that it surprised him, especially being a Fender, not know for their Classical Guitars.

Anyways, the ONLY complaint I have is be aware that while it is made from decent woods, they are laminated wood and not solid; therefore, you do not have the dynamics you would with a solid top. For beginner/intermediate students this won't be an issue.

Sound is good, stays in turn fairly well, very durable, as it has been knocked over a few times and bumped and no worse for the wear.

The neck is narrow, but when looking to purchase his next guitar, it seems that most wide neck guitars are also the more expensive ones...

I would totally recommend this to anyone just starting out. It will take you a long ways before you need to upgrade...

Great for starter classical students

Comments about Fender CDN90 Classical Guitar:

I've been playing for years, but since I'm going to study classical guitar in college, I obviously need to start as soon as possible. I got this today, just to learn on, and it's the best for the price. It sounds good, plays well, and is made well. It's just not what I look for in a guitar, but there's no complaining for beginners. I'm already picking it up fast, due to already learning classical pieces on electric, so it may be a breeze, but until then, this guitar will do fine.

Great guitar.

By Sethie

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fender CDN90 Classical Guitar:

I've had this guitar for about two years, and it's been through the worst. I've dropped it, it's fallen over, it's been stepped on... I'll stop there. The tone is great, the intonation is excellent, and it's just a great instrument all around. It doesn't stay in tune that well, but it is nylon, so what do you expect?
